According to a Windows representative, some people could be waiting for weeks before they get the install notice.

god dammit. I kinda wanted it soon..... Well that sucks

You can always download it straight from the site, but it'll act as a fresh install instead of an upgrade so your files won't carry over.

Your RAM must have the same frequency and timings. Because it's somewhat difficult to find RAM with the same timings, it's easiest to just find the same model of RAM.

Sorry I didn't specify, I was looking for a prebuilt one, I don't have the time or patience to buil it.
User avatar #37949 - theorangefox (07/27/2015) [-]
You'll save a lot more money building yourself, and it's fun to learn.
User avatar #37955 - thedarkking (07/27/2015) [-]
It may be cheeper, but I feel like there would be more hassle because it isn't insured meaning that if a part breaks I would have to personaly find and replace that part which would take up time that I seldomly have.
Other then that I would absolutely agree, the idea of building your own personalized computer sound fantastic.
User avatar #37956 - theorangefox (07/27/2015) [-]
Ya just gotta be careful, and treat every part like a baby!
User avatar #37967 - thedarkking (07/27/2015) [-]
But even with tender love and care things happen so what I'm trying to say is, is ther some way that I could have the parts covered so if one breaks I could send it to a manufacturer and have it fixed/replaced without me haveing to go there myself.
Sorry if I'm being annoying or bothersome I'm just really nervous because I know jack-squat about computers.
User avatar #37968 - theorangefox (07/27/2015) [-]
The only way with that is to invididually insure every part, but they'll all come with a one year warranty, but that doesn't cover damage done on purpose. E.g breaking a pin off a cpu chip because you tried to force it in.
#37978 - thedarkking (07/27/2015) [-]
One last question, do you know anything about the Lenovo ERAZER X315 or at least about Lenovo in general alienware is good too because I have seen some being cheeper then the parts in the link.
Either way thanks for heling me out.

User avatar #37970 - thedarkking (07/27/2015) [-]
And after it expires I will just replase it manualy.
