They're functionally immortal and can survive almost anything, up to and including the pure vacuum of space. Shit's wacky.

Good luck, the largest they get is .5mm. If you're not sure what that means, it means they're tiny as all goddamn fuck.

No I know what that means, I just kinda hopped that I'd be able to poke one cause it looks like it would feel similar to a mole rat.

I figured, I just like saying "X as all goddamn fuck". Incidentally, they're called both water bears and moss piglets. But yeah, petting or poking them is effectively impossible. I consider this a good thing, because this is only one variety of tardigrade, and the others tend to be scary as all goddamn fuck .

Well a plastic bag at least has a seal. It's better than direct exposure to open air.

Perhaps. I don't know science all that well. What causes the CO2 to expand? I always thought gas expands when heated, and refrigeration does quite the opposite of heating.

As someone from Pennsylvania it makes me uncomfortable when people refer to soda as "pop". Nothing against you, as that's your culture and I won't take that away from you. But that's a weird quirk I have. Just thought I'd share a little about myself.

well i guess those of us in the north are just a little more advanced than you lower states.

jk, i actually find it amusing how many different words we use for a simple carbonated beverage

How far north are you? There's only a few states north of PA so I always thought of us as northerners. Or are you in Canada?

I have family in Missouri and they call it pop as well. So I thought it was a southern thing.

minnesota, and yeah it seems to be randomly scattered across the country which states refer to it as pop or soda. i wonder how that happened

In Georgia, they refer to all carbonated drinks as "coke(s)" because that's where Coke was made. P.S. I'm from Ohio, and we call it both soda and pop.

I'm not paying for my university,

it's one of the best ranked university in my country, the university decides itself what they are going to teach or not. Their aim is to give us the necessary tools for our futur job not to teach anyone anything. I'm pretty real. Also not everyone goes to university's you have to get accepted in the best university's, the one's who aren't interested, who are not motivated enough or don't have the capacity are doing something else.
