Rolling a person on a barrel or flipping them upside down gets water out of the lungs.

Chest compressions hopes to restart the heart and circulate what oxygenated blood there is around.

Blowing air into the lungs is the hope that you add oxygen to the blood stream.

People need to know that to do chest compressions correctly you will most likely crack ribs and or the sternum.

This is all bad, but less bad than death so if they are no pulse, no breathing have at it. Otherwise, don't do anything.

You seem to have good Japanese writing skills, the grammar and words aren't wrong at all. But you're thinking too literally. You gotta get away from "if I type or use a keyboard"
Instead, think ”if I use a computer”.

"パソコンを使えば漢字は書けますよ"

Ah thanks man thats been driving me nuts this past week!

Ill definitely need to be careful not to be too literal. It seems like a lot of Japanese verbs and words for that matter can be extremely flexible in their usage.

Btw did you learn Japanese as your second language or at the same time as English?

**kwanzalord rolled image**Most people are the other way I think.
They can read and write to a degree, but when it comes to speaking they just fall apart.

If you need help with anything Japan/Japanese related, let me know. I'm a native speaker.

Thanks!

I was actually wondering... how do I say "typing" (on a keyboard or smartphone)?
I want to tell people that I can use kanji as long as I have a keyboard to type them out.

「漢字さえ打てば使えますよ」
又は「タイピングする」?

Some of my teachers acted confused when I tried to ask them what was the word for typing kanji.
