Since you posted the image, I'll go ahead recommend the comic it comes from to douthit, because it is my single favorite comic ever written. (and I've been into comics all my life and have read most of the classic Marvel runs up to the modern stuff, so know this isn't a newbie's opinion) The comic book in question is Runaways. If you can find trade paperbacks of it, I could not possibly recommend it enough. It's an amazingly written book, with great art for the most part, and the best part is it's really easy to get into because it doesn't demand much knowledge of the Marvel Universe at large like a lot of other Marvel books tend to.

well hulks regeneration (i think) would work well replenishing his blood supplies, and he's already a rage fueled bomb.

it would be an awesome crossover

thanks for the knowledge

It's from The Runaways .
Brilliant little Marvel comic about a bunch of kids who discover their parents are super villains, and then go on the run, eventually finding powers of their own.

It's fucking awesome. Recommended wholeheartedly.
We might even be getting a movie soon, but they've been saying that since 2005...

I can definately understand where you are coming from. Originally, when Tony Stark had his memories erased by Dr. Doom and had to reboot, I though it would be the end of my favorite superhero and didn't warn up to him until I saw the Bleeding Edge armor in full strength.

Still, the idea of an anti hero extremist Hero such as spiderman is interesting. The thing that separates Batman and Spidey from heroes like Captain America and Iron Man is that they deal with more basic crime. It isn't as easy as kill the super villian, but rather apply proper justice. Seeing a "vigilante" persona adopt a more radical, somewhat extreme nature that is usually reserved for Heroes on a larger scale while leaving him in the same enviroment seems really peculiar. Maybe that was the original intention and not actually getting rid of Peter Parker.

And Im sure he will return in some incarnation. Peter Parker is one of marvel's, if not all of comic's most iconic character. Right up there with Bruce Wayne, the Joker, Wolverine and Clark Kent (I personally think he is about as interesting as wet cardboard, but people tend to like him). They wouldn't just eliminate him like that. Maybe they wil reset everything like they did at the end of Civil War (but I pray to Thanos they don't pull that bullshit again)
