Even if you are right, it still doesn't explain why the artist is a fucking casual and drew the armor wrong

My theory is that most people know John from Halo 3 and his armor in that game is the most iconic, explaining why she chose to draw MK VI armor. But then, this confirms that every one in the audience she was trying to target is a fucking casual.

Alright, so since we've comfirmed it's Mark VII armor in Halo 4 when he is awakened, which it is, let's get back to argument at hand here. The artist did not draw it correctly.

Read the section "Stranded in Space", there is no possible way John or Cortana could have obtained MKVII in between Halo 3 and 4, not to mention the fact 343 has officially stated it's still Mjolnir MK VI.

He's never worn mark VII. He has worn mark VI. He gets it in halo 2.
User avatar #77 - kroople (12/07/2013) [-]
If I'm not mistaken, John wore MK VI all throughout Halo 3.

And this is Mark VII, as in Halo 4, when he was awoken from his capsule, so the artist should have been drawing that armor instead, hence me calling he/she a fucking casual in a joking matter, which is hard to accomplish here and if you get it wrong, you get fucked. Like this comment, for example.

Since you posted the image, I'll go ahead recommend the comic it comes from to douthit, because it is my single favorite comic ever written. (and I've been into comics all my life and have read most of the classic Marvel runs up to the modern stuff, so know this isn't a newbie's opinion) The comic book in question is Runaways. If you can find trade paperbacks of it, I could not possibly recommend it enough. It's an amazingly written book, with great art for the most part, and the best part is it's really easy to get into because it doesn't demand much knowledge of the Marvel Universe at large like a lot of other Marvel books tend to.
