I hope there is no favs limit.
On side note I think buying some Fakku books might be a good idea, just to support authors.

Yeah it would help them plus I enjoy every authors work that I have posted so far. But that would be a lot of porn to buy.

Got any favorite authors btw?

That's a pretty lone list but here's a few:
Sasagawa Hayashi
Hanafuda Sakurano
Shunjou Shuusuke
Asagi Ryu
These aren't in any order.

I know like 4 of those. Gotta mine exhentai and other sites for some vanilla goody.
NaPaTa, Hisasi, Homunculus and Minato Fumi draw some good stuff as well.

Shunjou Shuusuke and Asagi Ryu draw godly milfs.

I had to look up the other artists, except for homunculus, I recognize their works right away since some of their work is my favorite. Sometimes it's hard to find the artists name and give them credit.
If I had money my collection would be a lot larger.

If you did it right, then it could be a sort of nice comedy book I guess.
User avatar
#7951 - corkyobject (04/13/2016) [-]
But since the joke originated online would it be okay? I don't want people to see it as cancer if I can help it.
It would be a comedy as well parodying some other books, mainly harry potter.
User avatar
#7952 - westernphilosophy (04/13/2016) [-]
Yes it would be although, but just if you have the skill to do it.
If you have a really really amazing story, then your skill doesn't mater as much.
But when you're story may be on the edge of "cringe worthy" then you have to have really good skill.
Have it be filled with irony, sarcasm and all the other sorts if you're thinking comedy. Make them make fun of themselves.
User avatar
#7953 - corkyobject (04/13/2016) [-]
Yeah it will be a lot of self deprecating humor, a hentai reference I want to make one reference to it every story that I write , and rely on a decent plot and good character development.
The only time I reference the joke is in the intro and definition after the acknowledgements.
User avatar
#7954 - westernphilosophy (04/13/2016) [-]
Go for it I say.
And if you don't like it then you can always change some stuff.
User avatar
#7955 - corkyobject (04/13/2016) [-]
I'll try.
I shouldn't mention websites right? But I can say boards and forums?
User avatar
#7956 - westernphilosophy (04/13/2016) [-]
Websites go in and out of popularity.
Stuff like Facebook and 4chan may be gone in a few years.
So yeah, either just say forum or websites, or make up your own like "2sama" " OurMeet" idk
But if you're thinking legal stuff, I've read multiple books where they mention Internet sites, so do not worry there.
User avatar
#7957 - corkyobject (04/13/2016) [-]
Okay I'll keep it basic with boards and forums and create a site that people that are online at 3 am would go to.

Make different types of Wizards depending on different circumstances
Like if they get raped but otherwise nothing before 30 they're 'warlocks' and their magic is really rapey - making more warlocks
If they get to 60 they become sourcerers and they're more powerful - normal wizards need spells or something but sourcerers don't
Maybe 90 and they ascend and become immortal insert 639 year old guy who really just wants to get laid and wonders if its all been worth it
Women don't become wizards, they become witches and theyre powerd by sex. If they sex wizards they live longer or something

3 suggested ways of being more powerful as a wizard
1. Born with more potential - fairly standard
2. How abstinent they were - masturbated? Less power than this nerd who never figured it out
3. Lust - more lust = more power
The second and third ones seem more interesting
Maybe a combo - lust is the source but the less they released it before they lose their vorginity (still assuming they need to reach 30) the more they can handle
So that 639 year old giy levels mounrains and holds so much people just start poppin boners am gettin wet in the street wjen he walks by but he still can't get laid

I am going to have Merlin as the leader of the school. I still haven't decided if all of them are transported to a Hogwarts type place or they receive books, scrolls, and other things like that through the mail and hand delivery.
There will be witches that are the same as the wizards they will be thirty year old virgins also but only make up about 10-15% of them.
The different powers is a good idea, some rely on their libido/lust, others rely on their training and intelligence, others rely on their natural talent, and there will be other forms of wizards.
I still can't decide if the plot will mainly focus on the main fighting against evil wizards that are trying to either take over the world, make magic known, or something along those lines. There will be a lot of self deprecating jokes, parody setting of harry potter, and other jokes pertaining to life. The evil wizards created world of warcraft to bolster their numbers though

Focusing on important events in the world is a good way to lend weight and importance to your plot, but it's also important to have personal and minor elements and arcs, these lend the human aspect.
In your style of story, parody, I think having that sort of overarching beat the bad guy plot is necessary but A) blow it out of proportion, B) make the bad guys not all on the same side, make them comparably good at fucking each other over as the good guys and C) Have the plots of your main characters not always (or usually, preferably) focus on the overarching bad guy plot.
Groups: Good Guys, Virgin Hive Mind (made WoW, want everyone to follow their order), The evil succubi (I seriously think you should have these ones, even if you also have women virgin-wizards too, their plot is to create the fabled Man-Slut, warlocks [rape-wizards] were the result of previous attempts to make him)
Good guys want to stop the hive mind, get distracted playing WoW, succubi try to create the man-slut, causing WoW playerbase to plummet, One of the good guys gets pissy because his guild got depopulated, they try to figure out how to get the players back and get into a fight with the Succubi trying to find where all the players went, Succubi assume they are trying to prevent the Man-Slut, talk about plans, good guys go "the fuck? we gotta stop this" - action scene - succubi lose, virgin hive mind thinks someones figured out what they're up to and go into a sneakier mode, most of WoW players return and the good guys get bored of it. Hive mind vengeance set up as future plot point
One good guy has minor character arc trying to figure out his powers, talks to some really old guy and that's how you get some minor plot dump to start your background knowledge and a story arc to get readers hooked

World: Several schools, some like harry potter N shit, Merlin is head of the "council of the libido", ancient council of the heads of different orders and various other stuff, maybe the king(s) of a hidden kingdom or two where sex is banned under the age of 30 (everyones a wizard then), a super powerful guy who counts as his own group (like the 'Haram King' in 'The Gamer').

Theres various community things like clubs and schools and shopping places, with different ones taking ideas from all over and subtly fucking with them (Take ideas from all over like harry potter, tolkien, wardstones, iron druids, all over)
If you want stupid/rediculous/thought out ideas, isolated or some mix, shoot me up

Those are some excellent ideas man. These are awesome and I will be asking you for your help in the future.
This story and some other ones I am working on all take place in the same universe T.E.D. and the undead, W.I.T.C.H., A Shy Succubi
An evil hive mind of wizards that controls several of the worlds products games, toys, movies, comic books, and several other things that help bolster their numbers and powers. They do sometimes select some individuals that have hidden potential and can be used for the groups benefits.
There is plenty of backstory for the main protagonist and the side characters. Most of the wizards that are recruited now a days are morbidly obese neckbeards except for the main character and the side characters in his group.
A secret succubi order that does benefit from the "evil wizards" plan is a good idea since they want the "purest" for of life force semen or actual life force
and they work beside them to ensure that the wizards plans succeed. But they have their own goals and either one of them is willing to betray the other for their own personal goals.

I think having most of them as morbidly obese neckbeards would ruin it, itd seem too agenda based and cheesy
Use a few different stereotypes, like lanky stick think old dudes who talk like its still the 90s and really short guys everyone calls hobbits (they aren't, except later in the story we learn there is actually a secret society of hobbits and they curse regular people to be like them to hide themselves) but no matter how they deny it they accidentally fit the stereotype while arguing against one point everyone finds out they have super hairy feet, later theyve all shaved their feet but one really fat one conplains about missing 'second breakfast'
Even if most people are fat neckbeards, have the full variety of nerds. Like 70% max as obese fuckups

User avatar
#8011 - corkyobject (05/06/2016) [-]
I'm asking would it be a good idea to publish a book in different formats. Such as a comic and maybe manga after the book has already been released so if people don't want to read the book they can read the comic or manga.
User avatar
#8012 - epicalania (05/07/2016) [-]
That is not an answerable question, it would change depending on the story, one might only be suited to book while another may be great for comic, one might work in all formats while another works exclusively in 3. The story, how much it can be adapted to the new format, how much it needs to be adapted to the format and a lot of other factors weigh into it

This is an actual panel from Action Comics #273, in which Mr. Mxyzptlk drops a ton of sneezing powder on all of Metropolis, and Superman has to leave our entire goddamn dimension and find another dimension with no one living in it to sneeze in. WHICH ANNIHILATED AN ENTIRE SUN AND ALL OF ITS PLANETS.

Halo 5 was meh. It didn't feel like a Halo game just a reskinned call of duty. ODST could have been better if I knew where I was supposed to go.
