That's an idiotic way to be. You're encouraging people who have nothing worthwhile to say to speak up, instead of people with actual arguments. What you're saying is you can't agree with one person's point because you don't agree with all of his beliefs, so you'd rather go with the guy who has literally nothing to say because you agree with him on everything.
People like you are the reason why politics work the way they do. You can't admit anyone who doesn't agree with you fully has a good point. The guy on the bottom might as well have said, "Gay is okay and I like Oreos" because it fits into the requirements you have to thumb someone up.

Oh sigh, another person who loves to believe he knows me and paints a picture of me to show me off in the worst manner possible. Keep your tongue before you actually understand the person you're talking about.
Firstly, you're mistaken. I don't thumb up anything just because it's K. As I just said, I only thumb up something that I wholeheartedly agree with, some intellectual piece of speech that I should take to mind. That, or when somebody posts something that made me chuckle, smile, or generally recieve positive emotions from.
Secondly, my point earlier was that though I recognized the primary poster for a decent idea, I didn't fully agree with him. But then I see the second comment, the one with 95 thumbs. He had the same idea. He knew that even though the arguments were good, there were one particular sentence in there which reeked. So he pointed out that the argument was good, but he wasn't at the point where they had the same idea.

right though might is a pretty good rule.

But here's the thing. The people who settled there and the people who made those decisions are all dead. If you're going to go by that logic then you could logically oust all of North America and give it back to the natives.
The people currently living on the Falklands are UK citizens and they want to be subject to UK rule and UK law. The geographic location of the islands means nothing at this point because the time to object has long since passed. It may be colonialism but it's good colonialism because the people there like being colonies (unlike the US, Canada and India who famously didn't like it too much).
