Barrel Dragon was definitely one of my favorites and was actually one I kept because it has such a kickass design. Sadly as far as first cards go I got introduced to the game with a Kaiba Booster Pack. Not to say it wasn't awesome and made me feel really kickass, but just getting an entire deck to start off with made me feel less special since I did not get a specific card from a random pack as my first. Even so some amazing memories were had with that deck.

God, you're making get hit with some nostalgia. Now I have the sudden urge to look at what remains of what used to be a proud collection.

i never got involved in tournaments, so i never thought any card was too OP, i just dueled with all the kids that went to a local baby sitter, and me only ever asking for cards got me quite the deck, and as i got older no one would compete and i stopped playing because no one wanted to duel

I did a couple tournaments but I eventually found myself on the same path you were on and decided to get rid of everything except the few cards I loved and cards that I won. I wouldn't mind getting back into it if it wasn't for all the new things they keep adding into it to try and make it more complex.

good to know that the inner yu-gay in me is still sharp, and i personnaly think nightmare steel cage is OP

While I personally loved people using the card, you and everyone else seems to hate that card or at least think it's too op. Personally I think there are worse cards that are still usable in tournaments to my knowledge that can get a bit cheaper like Tyrants Temper which nullifies trap cards as long as it's on the field and Naturina Bamboosohot which is practically the same but works on magic cards too.

The effect apparently got misprinted and was later changed to base attack in later releases of it. I actually used to have both version before I got rid of all my cards.
