The Earth is not a closed system. And the "order" that we experience here is just a plateau before the Earth eventually tends to entropy as time goes on and our sun dies.

Order and entropy isn't really used in the way he does.

You can have a shitload of sticks and rocks scattered around a field, and not necessarily have a lot of "order". If you then collect the sticks and rocks, and arrange them in order of mass, you might think it's a more ordered system, but it's not, as the very act of collecting them created entropy that you can't see because it's on a quantum level.

Creating your own definitions for words, applying it to an incorrect argument about what those words actually mean, and declaring yourself correct and anyone asking for clarification to be intellectually inferior and unable to participate in the discussion.

Real nice.

someone forgot that earth is not a closed System :^)

wait...

"The typical response is to say that the Earth is not a closed system, but that's clearly wrong. The Earth can't be an open system because, if it were, there would have to be some giant source of energy outside the Earth feeding into the system."

... Man... did you ever looked into the fucking sky? There is Million time bigger then the earth ball of pure fucking Plasma Shooting us with energy!

That's not how it works. Even on earth, things tend to disorder. You realise that heat is a form of disorder right?

You're gunna have to give some example of these words you're using because I don't think they mean what you think they mean.

Earth isn't a closed system, and the sun is providing most of the energy. Your understanding of the second law of thermodynamics is flawed because y0u think of entropy as a dichotomy order/disorder when entropy is define by the number of accessible states. That being said, a strict interpretation of the second law applied to cosmology tells us that the spontaneous generation of a mind from the void is more probable than the big bang. The real question is: is the second law an epiphenomenon of our universe or something that supersedes it?
#67 - anon (06/21/2016) [-]
Whichever definition of entropy you're using, it would have to decrease for millions of years to produce complex life, and that's impossible. The earth is not a closed system, as I explained.

Actually he is correct Athiesm is a type of theism so in effect athiesm is a type of religion because you have a stance on god. The word you're looking for is non-religious meaning you do not believe in a god and don't assosiate yourself with any of the religous traditions. Including but not limited to Christmas, Easter and so on and so forth. You can google all this if you really wish however the results will be the same.

1. thumbs don't lie

2. you're both wrong and i never said i wasn't a dick
>> atheism.about.com/library/FAQs/ath/blathm_rel_religion.htm

also, some other reasons why atheism isn't a religion:
>there is no god for you to believe in or not, this is not faith, because all evidence points towards there not being one
>if atheism was a religion, not playing baseball would be a sport
