The L9A1, or Browning Hi-Power has been service in the modern British military for a long time now, but I believe it's being replaced with the Glock 17 Gen 4.

Keep in mind, this content is quite old, I imagine the L9A1 is still in service in some units.

I don't know a whole lot about the British military, only a little bit - but that is most likely a Hi-Power.

Standard issue for officers is a sig P226, though I think they're changing now as part of the plans for the future, taking part across all 3 branches

I know some units did throughout the years of WWI and II.

I don't think it fired a .45 though, might of been a .455 Webley catridge.
