Queen blacky: You're clothing is questionable in this era, and it makes you look foolish. My shoes are Steve Adams and thus are better than you.

Bi-standard blacky: Ma'am, nobody wears those particular shoes, they are irreverent to fashion.

Queen blacky and her group: My shoes are clearly in style and are fantastic! You're stupid for that opinion!

<Rage ensues from the apes>

Tall whitey: You sound like a fool, please stop your hooting.

Queen Blacky: What did you say?! Have at thee! *Slap*

Then the bitch got put in her place. The end.

Old World of Darkness. oWoD is basically vampires and werewolves in modern times. haven't gotten into it myself, but it's pretty cool. Alot of super edgy people play it, for obvious reasons.

I am currently the ST (DM) for my group, We're playing a hunter game set in 1943 and they are a group set up to fight the paranormal war whilst pretending to be an allied force, really they fight for the protection of all people no matter where you're from.

Current team consists of

- An English archaeologist (our lore type invesitgator)
- An English doctor (Dat Surgeon Yo)
- A French Reistence spy (he's the social character)
- An Irish chemist (he spends most of his time trying to find the 'perfect formula' i.e. what do we coat our bullets with to kill the bastards?)
- A Russain Sniper (DM pc, I have him there just in case the shit hits the fan, it's always good to have at least one combat character in the team)

We try to keep the fedora-wank to a minimum. Last game they investigated a pyramid, woke up a mummy, fought a warlock trying to open a portal to hell and got a bunch of interesting clues for each type in particular. I'm running it as a kind of Hellboy-esque thing. What I like most is their plans.

The archaeologist wants to become a mage and is pursuing this
The surgeon is trying to turn himself into frankensteins monster
The chemist wants to be a werewolf
The spy is trying to cure his grandfathers 'affliction' (vampirism, funnily enough, a Brujah)
The sniper just wants to drink his vodka.

If the campaign goes well I said that they can all have what they wanted at the end and I'll basically run a small campaign where they are all these things (The spy gets bit by his grandfather and the sniper gets possessed by either a wraith or demon) and they have to fight to try and survive the apocalypse.

I like WoD

Yeah, WoD can be really fun if you get the right people (from what I've read). Then again, any game can be shitty with excessive fedora -wank. I leave you with a gem.

I look forward to it. Sadly it seems I only have 3 WoD pics-I'll have to change that.

I remember we once played a renaissance Venice setting vampire game. I played a cutpurse named Antonio Crespo who was turned by a nosferatu, spent most of his time protecting the poorer members of society.

Put just one point in obfuscate (invisibility) and the rest into potence (super stregnth) and carried pretty much nothing but stakes and one knife. He was haunted by the ghost of a guard he killed because the guard was assaulting one of the homeless, the knife was the one he used.

pretty much spent his time wandering around protecting the innocent and whenever someone tried to tell him to stop botheirng with protecting the mortals and protect territory instead, often threatening him. He'd just start listing off all the dirty little secrets he knew about them because hey, he's a nosferatu, and if they didn't let him keep doing what he was doing he'd expose them.

At one point he staked a Sabbat vampire who had been slaughtering people in the slums then tied him up on top of the cross of a church to be killed by the sun, the local vampires didn't take to kindly to that because of the risk of exposure.

In the end Antionio Crespo was tied up and left to burn in the sun until he was Antonio Crispy but he was fun to play
