All those stats being legit is why America is one of the best countries in the entire world for someone to live in.
99% literacy

178th in infant mortality rate? Either that IS in fact false information, or he was trying to make you think that is by some stretch bad, because in reality only 6 children die in America for every 1000 children born. The country with the lowest being Japan at 2 deaths per 1000 born.

3rd in median household income? Holy shit that's better than I thought. With how fucking massive and diverse that country is and they're STILL 3rd in this category, yet he tries to use that AGAINST the country?

Same can be said about labor force, the country is massive, diverse, and highly populated yet they still manage to stay at 4th in labor rate. Yea let's use that AGAINST the country, logical.

4th in exports? What the fuck does this have anything to do with how "great" the country is? And even so, 4th is pretty fucking good.

And about the science and math one, I can already tell this is going to piss people off, but the reality is Americans are privileged enough to be able to forgo extensive math and science education should they so choose. There are enough opportunities outside of these fields to make a living off of that it is far less mandatory for the general population to be a math or science wizz. That being said, once AGAIN, America is highly populated and highly diverse, yet they still stay around the average in these categories.

1st in incarceration per capita. Well from what I can find they're actually in second, but that's pretty irrelevant. While I agree this is partially one of America's flaws www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaPBcUUqbew Great video about the flaws of incarceration within America I also see it as a good thing in a way. The people who are in jail (most of them anyway) deserve to be there and deserve some form of punishment. That being said, what happens during their time incarcerated and the amount of time incarcerated can be argued against.

1st in number of people who believe in angels. As someone who isn't exactly religious, I can't wrap my fucking head around how this is a negative. I assume he was talking about Christianity, because it's America. What the fuck is wrong with your average Christian? All the Christians I know are good people and have great virtues. Who fucking cares what their belief system is?

1st in defense spending. Okay? The United States is a highly militarized country and history seems to show that they are better off because of it. Once again I'm not exactly seeing a problem here that would detract from America being one of the "best" countries in the world.

Humans have free-will in Islam. Predestination also exists, but the two are not mutually exclusive in that God (SWT) is meant to know everything, including which path you will take.

The idea that she can't do anything about it is ridiculous. This is not to mention that rape and abuse are huge crimes in Islam, as women are meant to be respected individuals as per the rights the Quran specifically gave them since its release in c. 610-630 CE.

Islam places no fault on a victim of a crime, and to say so is ridiculous.

Christianity ≠ Islam
#83 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
There seems to be a lot of Muslims that think differently to you. The No-true-Scotsman's fallacy rises again...
#103 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
maybe its because every religion has different schools of thoughts,
you know like christians, mormons and westboros

same goes for islam, and therefore there is a lot that people disagree on. but a lot of people dont care about this fact and bundles up every muslim in the same bunch
#106 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
If god were omnipotent and omniscient he would be able to write a book that spells out unambiguously exactly what he wants. It appears as though it is extremely important to him for us to worship him, yet he has created a world with tens of thousands of religions and absolutely zero proof of his existence.
#117 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
if everyone was certain god existed, everyone would already be worshipping him. the whole point of our being is having the choice of worshipping him or not.

also the quran states that there are 3 previous 'version' of the quran sent to the prophets at their time, you may also know these as gospel, torah and zabur
#129 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
Where is the evidence for this god? An old book is not evidence of claims, especially if they are extraordinary, ie: supernatural.
#131 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
the fact that someone in the year 600 somehow knew about facts we are discovering in the year 2000 with technology we have available currently

but thats just 1 reason out of many

The Qur'an never leads to scientific discoveries, it is only when real science takes place that people look into their books and find something that vaguely matches it. Do you 'believe' in evolution?
#142 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
this is true, but at the time people wouldnt know nor understand such intell and therefore it would be wasted on the masses then. these metaphorical facts are worded in such a way that its still understandable to the people back then.
but its also meant for a later audience, like us.

im unable to answer the second question unfortunately
#144 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
Why can't you answer the second question?
#145 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
because i would have to research evolution excessively, an endevour i deem pointless at the moment
#147 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
Evolution is a scientific fact it you were wondering and I'm not sure how you don't know about its veracity. I'm also not sure why you would want to deny yourself a deeper understanding of the universe when it's so fucking amazing.
#149 - digitalmasterx (12/29/2014) [-]
because its usually a question which forces a discussion with an absent resolve.

i wont go in on evolution because i just know the surface of what it is basically
#155 - popeflatus (12/29/2014) [-]
If there is an absent resolve it is either that the student is a bad learner or the teacher is a bad instructor. The Garden of Eden story is false and is a later re-telling of Mesopotamian stories.
User avatar #86 - runescapewasgood (12/29/2014) [-]
Well, there are 90% Sunni Muslims out of 100% in the world, and they all agree with me, and on any issue there will be deviation, logically, whether it be scientifically proven or not.
No real argument here.

No doubt about that. I just don't buy particular stories like these which's only purpose is to make people more agreeable on war.
I especially don't buy the China stuff. China is the problem why the US can't simply attack NK, but China doesn't go out of their way to attack NK citizens.
