I don't know why but I can only masturbate with lube when using my left hand and I can only use my right hand while dry.

Why am I telling a funny pictures site how I masturbate

a) I guess I can't argue the originality of the Qur'an but the claim is that it was brought down after 3 other holy books, which were the Bible by Jesus, Torah by Moses and Zaboor by David, and contains educational tales from said prophets and more (not including David and the Zaboor, which are only mentioned) so it makes a lot of sense for it to have similarities to the original testament.

Also, the book was compiled shortly after the prophet's death because his "disciples" so to speak memorized it's verses. The nature of the Arabic language is the constants and accents that add subject and different meanings to the words, so even so much as a misprinted accent could cause a lot of change yet muslims everywhere all around the world read from the exact same book and even pronounce it the exact same way, due to the nature of the language.

b) Although a lot of the prophet's quotes are not written in the Qur'an, there is a very complex process as to how scholars legitimize the quotes, some going beyond the main 4 members and asking up to 70 different people if they heard the prophet say the quotes before they tasked it as evidence, and I'd like to know more about these recordings if that's possible.

None of that is even true. The books that were rejected were the ones that were written hundreds of years after.

I agree, from a social perspective, it's interesting to see what sorts of answers we humans come up with for divine questions, although the Qur'an does seem very legitimate to me

I really like Islam's social and economic system, how so much money is given to the poor, with thieves and murderers facing severe punishment effectively promoting the poor to work with some financial support and steering them away from resorting to steal / kill to survive.

the way I see it, if a "divine law" is enacted by an entity that has created so much complexity in science and nature, it's got to be perfect, can't be misinterpreted and must be applicable and relevant in all eras of humanity, don't you agree?
User avatar #61 - bokkos (04/09/2013) [-]
It wasn't compiled until the fourth Caliph, so some 200 years after the death of Mohammed. But yeah, it's interesting in that a) It shamelessly borrows from the Torah and the Bible (the Lord's prayer is copied almost ad verbatim) b) Mohammed is recorded as saying some pretty horrid things, which scholars have attributed him to mistakenly channeling Satan, and c) the history of the Quran is quite well known, and it is provably and hilariously unreliable as a result

User avatar #30 - bokkos (04/07/2013) [-]
As in; I don't need Facebook, social networking, a half-assed Skype and video purchasing services on my gaming console. I have a computer for that. Microsoft does do the same thing, but Sony always comes first in my mind when it comes to features over games, like the recent tech demo for the PS4 with the old man face. Sure, it's impressive, but I'd rather see some new IPs rather than them masturbating in front of investors.
