The "visible sections" button or whatever it's called at the top-ish part of the page, it should be near your username. I use it to hide the comment section on my profile cause I've had people in the past who have redthumb bombed me.

Haha I don't even know, man. I don't really come on here as much as I used to but I guess I just learned what people thought was funny. I've got quite a few top comments, that's probably why.

I do tend to pop up now and then on military related threads but I try to remember that too. Modesty is a much more respectable trait. All-in-all I know I'm not a Marine yet but I am excited that the time is coming closer for me to get my chance to prove myself. And you asked before and I don't think I answered, boot camp for me is on August 17th at MCRD San Diego. I'm DEP so I have to wait longer than usual. I've been DEP'd for about two months now. It's possible I can leave sooner though, just a roll of the dice.

If I remember correctly the dropout rate for BUDS is like 75-80%. And that's exactly what I mean. Too many people bragging their asses off. A few days ago I stumbled across a comment on Youtube of someone that had said they were joining the Coast Guard and how they were all determined to serve their country and shit. The comment was a little over a year or so old. I asked them how things were going for them because a friend of mine is going into the Coast Guard and she will be getting in around the same time I'm getting into the Marines. He replied back earlier today that he never even joined.

Seriously, whenever I meet people that are pro gun control I always ask them this question:

If there was a madman who wanted to kill a bunch of innocent people, who would he fire upon? A room full of people who were armed, or a room full of people who were unarmed?

Heavy weapon laws, idiotic people who are terrified of even the sight of weapons, and gun-free zones are the leading cause of gun crimes, NOT the weapons themselves. The very defenselessness of others is what causes someone to decide to murder. I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun sitting next to my bed, loaded with 1 oz slugs that would leave an exit wound the size of a small basketball. But the gun hasn't tried to harm me at all, even when I'm sound asleep.

Yeah i'd probably get pissed at every post that Navy is mentioned everyone has to make gay jokes and everyone wanting to ride the Navy Seal bandwagon. Yeah those two guys arguing about their muscles, then saying "I'm gonna join SEALS" 90% will never even join the military and 90% of them won't even qualify for SEALS and then 90% of them won't get the contract to go to BUDS and then 90% of them won't make it through BUDS.
