feel free to add me on xbox live, just tell me who are and how you found me. Keep in mind im not a HC gamer, so if you bitch about how i play or criticize me/irritate me you can just go hump a cow. Id rather be chill and just play and have fun than have someone bitching in my ear about hackers/noobs.

He's been around for a while on British Films and Television, but its only been since The Last of the Mohicans has he become an International Star. He also comes from a very artistic family, his dad was a Poet Laureate which is a big deal and his mum was an actress as well, I can see how he could have been a really dipshit to work with on the set, but I would rather have people be miserable on a film set and come out with something like this, rather than people "having fun" on a set and releasing a shit film
User avatar #86 - bknob (08/27/2013) [-]
The makes sense with his parents being the creative types. I've never seen the Last Mohicans but I knot (at least I think anyways) that he won a fair amount of award for that as well. It would be so cool seeing how he is on set, but working with "The Butcher" sounds terrifying. I really want to see the new Lincoln movie he's in, I can only imagine how good that is with him as Lincoln. It always amazes me when actors can literally change who they are so drastically and in such a talented way. If Daniel Day Lewis hadn't been the Butcher in the Gangs of New York, that movies would've been a lot more difficult to get through considering the length of it.

Especially with fukin DiCaprio, seriously, I mean he's not THAT bad, but in that film? With that cast? And that high demand for natural talent? He was waaay out of his league.
User avatar #90 - bknob (08/27/2013) [-]
I like DiCaprio imo, he does a great job on a lot of films and I sorta liked his character in that film. Having said that though, when he plays a character he only plays the DiCaprio character, he's not anything close to a method actor like Lewis. DiCaprio was for sure out of his league to an extent in that film, but granted a lot of actors would be compared to Lewis. He is a league of his own.

Excpet maybe Cameron Diaz, she was kinda "meh"
User avatar #116 - erpetrich (08/27/2013) [-]
Like you say, he's good at his "Dicaprio character", so he's been in some pretty good stuff, but I don't think its only Lewis in the film thats great, yeah he does stand out, but the supporting cast is also absolutely amazing.

Yeah, agreed on that. I actually enjoyed..I can't remember his name or his character, but it was the guy DiCaprio's character got elected to beat out the butcher. The actor played mad eye moody in Harry Potter. I really liked his character. The overall movie was fantastic the whole way through.

If the "betrayal" you are talking about is what I think you're talking about, then you may be slightly mistaken (although it is equally possible that I am). During the war of 1812, the British government had created plans to construct an Independent Native American nation south of the Great Lakes as well as some territory in Main e for Canada. However this proposal was eventually wiped off the negotiation table partially due to the terms of the Pax Britannica which had ended the Napoleonic Wars. This treaty had prevented the Prussians and Russians from claiming territory in Europe after the war and if the British had then gone on to take territory in North America, it would have been seen as hypocrisy and would have potentially turned Prussia and Russia against Britain.

Although you may be referring to something else that I'm not aware of
User avatar #123 - bknob (08/15/2013) [-]
I wasn't aware of any of that actually. That's quite interesting. However, what I'm referring to was actually the alliance Canada/Britain had with the Native Americans. Basically put, we allied with them and used fear tactics of their scalping and such to scare away American troops. It worked for the most part until Canada started losing their military at parts in the USA and had to eventually withdraw their alliance with them. This essentially allowed the states to get rid of the Natives quite easily. So we basically turned our backs on them and it eventually led to the removal of a ton of tribes.

And then for shadows you take a soft black brush, bursh where shadows are needed, change it to darken.

For the orange color, take orange from the flame, soft brush, set it to lighten, overlay, or screen.
