feel free to add me on xbox live, just tell me who are and how you found me. Keep in mind im not a HC gamer, so if you bitch about how i play or criticize me/irritate me you can just go hump a cow. Id rather be chill and just play and have fun than have someone bitching in my ear about hackers/noobs.

Just cause he found it on the internet does not mean someone has psoted it on funnyjunk before he did.
User avatar #19 - gnillort (04/01/2013) [-]
that hasn't been my experience on funnyjunk at all... the whole point of funnyjunk is to post funny pictures.

granted, the community has probably seen most of the pictures that are already on the internet.. but what you're implying is that we've seen everything and you should only post OC. If it's a repost, people will let him know regardless of what his description says. I think saying "sorry for repost" is still better than not saying anything at all if you're worried many people have seen the image before - enough to the point where the community would be annoyed by the image.
User avatar #147 - bknob (04/01/2013) [-]
I wasn't necessarily saying I believe that, I was saying that's what the vast majority of the community believes, or at least it's been proven by the number of comments and thumbs that go with them. Every time I see a post on the front page with "sorry if repost" in the description, there's almost always someone with a ton of thumbs that's mocking them on it. Sometimes there's multiple.

I wasn't even really telling him not to do it, but rather giving him a heads up that if he does, expect that there will be people doing what I just said.

It's called contemporary now.
User avatar #171 - bknob (03/26/2013) [-]
Contemporary! right, that's what I meant by conceptual - contemporary. Having said that, I was just meaning in a general sense because not many really know the difference between modern, contemporary, abstract, while all different, most people just lump them together. That's why I added "or whatever you want to call it."

And as I said, punishments are way the hell too lenient. Like when somebody gets their shit beat, and won't bother going to the police because nothing would come of it, and the offender would go nearly unpunished? That's just wrong.

100% correct mate. Canada overall hasn't got too bad a justice system so far as I know, but we're too damned lenient in some cases, this being one of them. I mean when you get life in prison, but can apply for parole again after what, 25 years? Not much of a punishment, in his case that equates to less than a year's punishment per murder. This is the bullshit of a weak-willed government I say.
#114 - bknob (03/25/2013) [-]
Yeah I mean for the most part I agree with how it works, its more so the actual punishments i have a problem with (its gotten to such a point no one reports any crimes because of what'll happen to them via the accused since they wont get any punishment). 25 years =/= life, at all. It's stupid they even call it that. On top of that, one of the only people to ever serve a full time was innocent, so what does that say about how we do shit here? Not much thats for sure... Hell, look at pickton, his appearance alone disturbs me.

I'm pretty sure they've proven like 10, and are suspecting 49 murders. Still a pretty fucked up guy tho.
User avatar #110 - bknob (03/25/2013) [-]
Yeah I wasn't really sure, I was just spouting out numbers that sounded familiar off the op of my head. I just know he had a ton of murders, even by American standards of serial killers.

And I'm really not sure about the acid and pigs thing, I'm fairly sure I do remember something about dissolving them though. Maybe he did a few that way, fed some others to the pigs. In any case, IMHO he should be granted an exception to the removal of the death penalty. Anyone so horrid as him shouldn't be allowed to live, if you'll forgive my passing judgment which isn't mine to pass.
User avatar #109 - bknob (03/25/2013) [-]
Oh I agree personally. What he has done is absolutely disgusting. Hes one of the few people in the world i wouldn't mind having their life terminated. As far as the dissolving things go, I dont even think it matter whether he did one or the other or both; its all disgusting. He needs far more punishment for what he did than what he'll get, and this is coming from someone against the death penalty.
User avatar #112 - taxation (03/25/2013) [-]
