No I'm not either.. I hate speaking in front of a group of people.. but the thing to remember is, everyone has to go through it.

12 minutes is a great time.. I'm 19 and my best time is 13 minutes... nearly 14, But I'm quite a large boy... My running style is more short bursts rather than stamina.

I'm glad you don't mind it's great to talk things over, otherwise they build up and with out any form of release you go a little nuts =].

I've got dinner now... I probably wont be back on tonight..
I'll talk to you when ever I can... or when ever I get a allergy test or preform my own ^_^

Yeah, it's not that bad when you start doing it.

I'm the same as you. I'm more of a sprinter than a long distance runner.

None of my friends are interested in it so it's nice to talk to someone about things.

Alright then. Don't die from the allergy test!

I guess they do have a lot to get through though, quite a few people are joining..

How was the ice breaker? and what time did you do the 1.5 in? Sorry to ask so many questions but like I said.. I have no one to talk to about the army.. You can say when you've had enough of my interrogation.
User avatar #71 - benfordham (12/11/2012) [-]
Yeah, and then the paperwork has to then go on to higher authority.

The ice breaker was okay. I'm not a very confident person so I sort of rushed it but it was okay. Had to answer some things on a board:
- a little about yourself (where you live etc)
- talk about a topic (hobby, sport, film)
- what made you want to join the army
- talk a little bit about your main job choice.

As a junior, I have to complete it in under 14 minutes and 30 seconds. I did it in just a little over 12 minutes. Still training though so hopefully I can shave that time down. I like the questions and talking to some else about the army.

1.5 miles run, a team building exercise and an we had to do an ice breaker.
