If a petition hits enough signatures it simply means it has to be brought up in a government meeting I think Congress maybe
User avatar
#55 - hierophant (09/14/2016) [-]
There's no way that would ever be passed in Congress, but you know...Just imagine. Going through serious bills, documents, whatever it is they do...And then they just get handed a petition, asking to change the national anthem to a song they never heard of, from a game about an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog.

Well, next ideas are:
After we prevent legion invasion, old gods will annoy us, while we prepare to go to argus. Also, troll kontinent and kul'tiras.
Next next expansion will be argus and finishes up with sargeras, prolly with the help of our own titan planet soul, since we somehow solved old gods.

then, voidlords and the army or light stuff, which will be the end.

Might have been for a school project. I wrote a 5 page essay about advertisement n High School. I'm sure many others has had similar school projects.

Also, the people at Coca Cola are fucking gods when it comes to advertisement, holy shit. No one else even compares.

Yeah, i chucked at that too. Didn't happen, person just thought it would be a better post with that instead of ''so i randomly found these Off ads''

i was not not complaining about the wording, only the fact that there is a person whos freetime exists of searching for ads online
prob just an ads worded as a post, either that or we as humanity has to work harder on fighting procrastination

having to carry a gun even in your own, locked house at all times aye..
that's some next level paranoia right there, how many locks do you have on your doors?
User avatar
#184 - heartlessrobot (09/10/2016) [-]
Two on each outside door.
Each screen door has a handle lock and a hook and eye latch, but that's mostly to keep the wind from blowing it open.

and background checks with blood samples on every guest in your house?
User avatar
#188 - heartlessrobot (09/10/2016) [-]
Nah, why do you think I own a gun?
Don't need to worry about someone who's in your house if you're packing.
User avatar
#189 - liero (09/10/2016) [-]
that's debatable
a gun is a gun, you can have a whole armory filled with them but all it takes for someone to get you is a shot, a stab or a well-placed punch to the neck/temple, regardless if you're packing or not
User avatar
#191 - heartlessrobot (09/10/2016) [-]
And shooting someone in the head is insanely difficult, unless you're right next to them, and they're not moving.
User avatar
#190 - heartlessrobot (09/10/2016) [-]
People can and have survived multiple low caliber gunshots long enough to pull their trigger, which is why higher calibers are legitimately better.
Same goes with stabs, which, by the way, it's very hard to stab someone if they know you're going to do it.
Punches aren't worth shit, you'd have to be a grade-a pussy to get taken down in a punch from your average joe.
User avatar
#192 - liero (09/10/2016) [-]
try surviving a 9mm gun wound to the head, neck, heart or any other vital organ; the point behind assaulting, robbing or killing someone is to do it quick before they have time to react.
and that's why people don't let you know when they're gonna stab you, precisely because they don't want you to put up much of a fight
and if you think punches aren't worth shit then you've deff not been punched a lot, I can tell. there's a reason you see a lot of people being knocked out, and that's not because they're weak pussies, but because it's blunt trauma directly to your face and head.
life ain't a game, you can carry a weapon wherever you go inside your house, you can do all these paranoid safety measures but if someone wants to get you, all it takes is a well-placed shot, probably even before you knew what was going on
User avatar
#193 - heartlessrobot (09/11/2016) [-]
I have had a skateboard broken over my head, blunt trauma with anything short of a brick, rock, or hammer, ain't shit.

I have strong opinions against gun safes for that reason. I also have my shotgun sitting at my desk and my hand gun at my side unless I'm sleeping. Then my handgun is at the head of the bed.

Wife open carries hers.

Dont keep your weapons in a safe?
#17 - pokemonstheshiz (09/10/2016) [-]
I don't think 3-year-olds are very capable of learning gun safety
User avatar

Do I need to record another video of my one year old refusing to touch my guns? My 3 year old refusing? My 4 year old?

Teach them gun safety when they're old enough to handle a
.22, teach them abstinence of guns until then. It's not hard to sit down and teach your kids not to touch something.

Maybe put the gun on top of a bookcase or cabinet.
Ya know, something that is in reach for adults at all time, out of sight and something a kid can't get to...

#20 - teamrocketninja (09/10/2016) [-]
Well, I've been shooting since I was five...

Also that isnt what we're discussing, I dont think anyone will disagree.
User avatar
#21 - pokemonstheshiz (09/10/2016) [-]
If a weapon isn't in a safe, then it's plausible that it's accessible by that 3-year-old.
It also makes it easier to steal if you're robbed when not home.

This has nothing to do with the following discussion, just a response to your assertion. Keeping weapons outside of a safe isn't necessarily the best option.
#109 - anon (09/10/2016) [-]
>i'm retarded and don't understand physics

User avatar
#18 - flippytrixfordiner (09/10/2016) [-]
i dunno haven't owned a gun but i'm sure someone would figure out somehow like if someone intrudes your house and you shoot him the police might check for a safe for the gun and the safe for the ammo.

Put it back after you shoot? Pretty sure they're also gonna be more concerned about the dead guy than you committing a very minor crime.

Safes are a good idea if you have kids around, but if not, its better just to keep it and the ammo accessible.
