one handed pick up of the laptop, the thumb would be placed on top just in front of the screen, any little tilt or trip will cause the persons grip to force downwards on one of the physically weakest points on the laptop

That looks fine, could probably work fine as a desk fixed labtop after that assuming none of the copper started to melt.

I really understand this, I was told how I was brilliant at everything, until I suddenly started to struggle in class at around 16. I always tried to get home before my mom to get rid of my school reports because I thought she would see I was predicted Bs instead of the As she expected. I've mainly gotten over this over the last year (cutting out pressuring members of my family did wonders, and I found friends at the same academic level who I would never think had failed by achieving non-A-grades) but the fear of slight failures still remains. Reports still terrify me, but I don't have to excel in everything to feel good about myself. I'm just happy being a good, average person.
