It's funny because it got worse reviews than a lot of his recent movies.

The one where he's a golf caddy is one of my favs he have done. But I agree this movie was actually pretty funny. If you like his wacky humor, The Cobbler is absolutely worth watching.

He's a golf player, not a caddy but yeah it's a good one. Happy Gilmore is source.

TBH, Longest Yard was always a good one. But ballisticmistype , I may have to give that one a look in. Seems interesting.

The weapons grade uranium can be gone for many months and we still have the ability to detect if it has ever been there.

For them to be able to remove our ability to detect its past presence they would have to disassemble every single part of the facility including the dirt and move it someplace else. Two weeks is not enough time to disassemble a uranium centrifuge system with the thousands of centrifuges required to developing highly enriched uranium.

Yes, but what I'm trying to say is that our ability to detect it won't mean anything if they've moved it by the time that we get around to detecting it.

Us saying that we know uranium has been there won't bring back the uranium if it has been moved.

I think it's the failure of the Iranian Government and the American people to realize that our ability to detect the presence and past presence of weapons grade enriched uranium makes the 24 day delay mean absolutely nothing.

Technology never stands still and its not like we are going to advertise our capabilities to the world.
#15 - ballisticmistype (07/17/2015) [-]
You think that the Iranian government will just throw their hands up and say "Oh, they're coming to inspect our facility in twenty four days. I guess we'll just leave this weapons-grade uranium here for them to find."...?

By the time the officials arrive to inspect the plant, that uranium will have been off-site for probably about twenty days. Our ability to detect the presence (or past presence) of enriched uranium and then sanction the fuck out of Iran again won't mean jack shit if they already have said uranium produced and moved off-site well before we even get there to confiscate it.

tl;dr- The honor system and the value of "trust" that this whole deal is based on doesn't mean hoopty-diddly to a government like Iran's (which has been accused in the past of directly aiding terrorist organizations such as al Quaeda)
#17 - apologies (07/18/2015) [-]
