To the defense of Spider-man...she did bring it up. The easiest way to make someone think of something is to tell them not to so she put the thought in his head

trying to hurt spidermans friends or family is as wise decision as punching kim jong un in middle of a korean concentration camp...

The Death of Spider-Man Motion Comic Fan Film

someone animated the comic. It's actually a really good animation. I suggest skipping to 1:27

that never actually worked either quite frankly...

spidey is pretty much batman with superpowers and more brains.
User avatar #75 - hellomynameisbill (05/21/2014) [-]

Batman is a trained ninja, engineer and tactician. Batman is trained for and prepares for EVERYTHING. After the Bane incident which left him vulnerable and stupid, he now has several bat caves and ammunition caches stationed around Gotham, He prepares detailed plans for each of his missions and has mapped Gotham and all of its vantage points.

Spidey on the other hand is a man who has the strength and ability of a human sized spider which now that I think of it, would be terrifying. If he actually had the shape of a gigantic spider, crime would permanently cease. and the wits of an a grade university student. He's also just a great guy.
User avatar #76 - angelious (05/21/2014) [-]
actually spiderman goes beyond that. his spidey sense gives him precognition wich gives him the ability to go againts such beings as captain america(whom batman admitted on being better than him in hand to hand combat) while blindfolded. his intelligence is also commended by reed richard(mr fantastic, who shits on batman in terms of intelligence) to be around his level.

spiderman is also trained in multiple martial arts including way of the spider wich was developed by him and one of the greatests marvel martial artists.

he also has stated that he has plans set together to take down his fellow heroes incase they go berzerk

hox these include the likes of hulk, thor, captain america, iron man and so on.

yes, but batman still takes the cake in terms of tactician skills. he has plans to take down every member of the justice league and is still much better prepared than spiderman. who pretty much only has the spidersuit and at least a watch. but yes, spiderman beats batman in terms of brute strength, speed, reflexes and sensory skills. the spider sense is still a sense, so there has to be imminent danger in order for it to work. so it doesn't work well against things that would be faster than a giant spider such as firearms fun fact: the spider sense is the reason that spiderman can swing around without aiming his webs
User avatar #78 - angelious (05/21/2014) [-]
except spidermans reactionspeed is supersonic.

he can react to bullets.

and justice league is pretty much the same as avengers.(one could even argue an out of control thor is stronger than supes) plus with his intelligence he has built such things as his web slingers and considering the budject he has its pretty darn impressive.

also spiderman has been observed to be a keen strategist as he often fights beings who are out of his league and still come out on top.

fun fact spiderman was once fore told to be the teacher of the mutant messiah
User avatar #80 - hellomynameisbill (05/21/2014) [-]
He can react to bullets, but that doesn't make him immune. he's been shot multiple times. but yeah, spiderman is great in terms of sensory reaction and decisions, but I don't think that most of spiderman's triumphs are products of strategy. seriously, every hero fights an enemy stronger than themself.
User avatar #82 - angelious (05/21/2014) [-]
yeah but spiderman faces foes like juggernaut and out of control hulk on a daily basis. he also assists thor around in fighting foes like loki and such.

also that whole argument could actually be turned around and used on batman

Not sure why you got thumbed down for that, you are right. The point I was trying to make is that he is articulate, not literate.
