Well a person on the internet said it, not necessarily the same one in the picture.

No, they don't. Maybe they do in America (although it looks like a lot of comments are debunking that) but anywhere else you just say "black". That's normal. Nigger's racist, though, and if you say "coloured" or "Negro" you better be older than sixty.

Living in the UK I've only ever heard them referred to as 'black' and they don't really take any issue with it.
The Chinese girl I went to school with got offended when I said she was Chinese though. But my Chinese boyfriend didn't.
So y'know, eh.

I've never known a black person to be offended by being called black. I have found a few that took offense to African-American. Probably something to do with the fact that nobody in their family is from Africa, or has had anything to do with the place for centuries.

Black people really don't give a shit about being called black. It's only the racebaiting pieces of shit (that are mostly white liberals) who cry like bitches about it.

Black is the most matter-of-factly way to call someone. It's a description, much like "blonde".

They arent actually black tho

Nah but it's a compromise since being black sounds kinda cool and calling someone "brown" sounds kinda bad. If I was a black person, I'd want people to call me black. Like I don't mind if someone calls me white, it's a descriptor.

original day/month/year has been taken up by rest of world
japanese year/month/day is backwards but if we read their mangos and animus backwards then we can deal
american month/day/year crap? that's just all sideways mate, ever heard of order? days are shortest so they go first, years are longest so they go last and months are neither shortest nor longest, therefore they go in the middle. get your stanky date recording crap outta here!

I just posted my opinion, fucking new red thumbs have arrived

It's more natural to say March eighth, 2015, than eighth of March, 2015.

#9 - deltoraquest (03/08/2015) [-]
more natural for me to say the latter

It's more natural because you grew up with it.
For me it was natural to call black people "niggers" because in my country "black" was offensive.

Month is more important for filekeeping than day. Year/Month/Day is best for organization. The US system works well assuming you already know what year they're talking about (which is usually the case). In day to day use there really isn't a superior way. It's not like it's that hard to read either as long as you know which one they're using and neither provide enough of a time-benefit to argue for either.
