Thats introversion
Getting energy from meeting new people is extroversion.
Getting energy from being alone or being with a small group of close friends is introversion.

Ah, another misconception. Jesus didn't die for our sins. At least not in the way most people interpret it. He did to rid humanity of "original sin". The whole eating the fruit of knowledge thing.

Before Jesus all people were condemned to hell/purgatory or what have you. The new testament would have you believe the only way to rid yourself of original sin is through Jesus. Accept and acknowledge that he died for your sins and you'll be granted access to heaven. Not guarantied it though.

As for whether or not the bible actually condemns homosexuality, that is up for interpretation. The most famous "a man should not lie with a man as he would a woman" quote can be interpreted several different ways. But I think it's pointless to argue any of them because the very same part of the bible says wearing clothing of mixed fabric is punishable by death. If you throw out on part and not the other, why take the book as sacred?

That was a bit more than I intended to write. Whoops. I get carried a way sometimes.

I don't know what religion you are part of, but the religion I was raised in does not believe you are held accountable for someone else's sins. He atoned for all of your sins. That is his half. You have to do the other half to actually make it mean something.

I didn't mean to offend. Perhaps you read my post wrong. I said that Jesus absolved you of original sin. So, if you are a Christian that follows the new testament, you have only your actions to be judged on, not those of people before you.

I don't see how you differ from what I said.

I don't believe there is anything like original sin. I have NEVER been held accountable for anyone else and no one ever has been.

I'm not sure what he's trying to get at there. The bible is clear that he died for everyone's sins... Both in the past, present, and future... There were certain requirements for different time periods in order to accept his "gift of life" from when he died for you.
Thats one of the main differences between old and new testament.

Look, if that's your personal belief, that's fine. I'm not saying you are wrong. All I'm saying is that most religions that preach the new testament follow the idea of original sin and in turn the idea that Jesus dying for our sins absolved us of that original sin.

It is really not my intention to offend.

Well considering that (assuming religion is true) only one can be correct, meaning at LEAST all of those religions that believe that are wrong except one can help reaffirm my belief that an all knowing/loving creator could possibly judge you because of the actions of someone else.

Again, I feel as though you are taking my words as a personal attack. I don't practice any religion, and I am looking at them objectively. I personally believe that no one religion is 100% correct. As such no religion is 100% wrong. You are absolutely allowed to believe whatever you want. All I'm telling you is what I know generally about the new testament. I am not a religious scholar or anything of the sort. I want only for people to be happy, how they get there matters not so long as they aren't hurting anyone else.

I'm not taking it as a personal attack and I am not offended. I'm just saying, this "original sin" spreading from one person to everyone... I don't see where it comes from. I see religions preach it, but I've never seen it in the scriptures, I've never seen any real doctrine to back it up.

Fair enough. As I said I don't practice any religion, so I'm not bothered enough to look it up. And as you said yourself, many religions preach the idea, so it is what I am aware of, and the reason I mentioned it.

its all good, it happens to the best of us :p but homosexuality can't be that condemned, because way back when, I don't exactly remember how far back, the church would actually allow two same gendered people, usually two preists in convents to have a church sanctioned domestic partnership sort of thing. I read it on Cracked, so take it however reliably you want to.
