There is no opinion or subjective truth to the matter at hand. It's not "disagreeing" with you, as if this is opinion based; men are objectively, unilaterally more physically able than women in track sports.

Sorry if that offends your sensibilities, but men are faster, stronger, they jump higher, dodge quicker, and leap further than women.

No, exercise science is a respectable profession. They become personal trainers, and work with professional athletes to make sure they're in peak condition. From what I know they also make good money.

It's also not an easy major either, muscle systems are complex and the courseload for them is ridiculous. Save the glue police insults for liberal arts bitches.

Your statement is not even close to the truth. The men's Olympic 1000 meter record is 2:11.96. The women's is 2:28.98. Men beat women at very single Olympic track record I have ever seen. I think there are a few women jockeys that beat men's times but the horses are racing as much as the jockeys are.
#42 - anon (06/10/2016) [-]
Nah the hip structure and the way the muscles work is kinda different, typically women are more supple, but men can get way more power out of leg movements. Which is why in Soccer men can do quick groin movements and open there legs easier whereas women struggle to get real power doing so

Guys have longer legs, more muscle mass (which helps a shit ton with sprinting, look at Usain Bolt's build), something ridiculous like 70% more lung capacity, and higher red blood cell count. Not to mention, men's hurdles are up to my belly button (and I'm about 6'2), while women's only reach about halfway up my thigh. And that's their high hurdle.

In short, you're fucking retarded and I don't care if this is bait.

I just looked up last year's high school state track results for Ohio. The first place male junior in high school student beat the women's world record for the 1600m. That's an arbitrary year result in a random state. Can you imagine the difference between actual world records if I cherry-picked results?
#11 - anon (06/10/2016) [-]
Except the way that the legs joint with the hips differ from men and women. This is what makes men faster runners. Women's hips are for giving birth, so their legs do not swing perfectly strait forward like men's legs do. So if you are biologically a male, you have a substantial advantage at running, regardless of what you identify as.

I looked up the top track and field times and it seems what you said is kind of true, though the time differences only differ by about one second in most cases between genders (thought that one second is a rather big difference) though the person in question is presumably in high school so usually there are just fast people and less fast people, I highly doubt they'd be allowed to compete as a female in a professional race though. I appreciate the information though!

A guy got accused of rape at my university. The court let him out on bail (no judgement, just bail). SJW's literally stormed the court and took people hostage, demanding that they change the bail grant they gave him.

**kcits rolled image** Dude, I just wanted to let you know you gave me motivation because I'm literally sitting here in my sweaty gym clothes. I'm 5/9, 219 lbs, down from about 280. My family's great, some of them thin, most of them not, but loves to eat; I've always been a fat chick, never thought I could do it until I realized I had to do something. It might sound corny, but when I was on the bike at the gym just an hour ago I thought about how damn nice it would be to get under 200, not to stop, just, keep going because it's not going to disappear by itself. So, I think you down from 220 is wonderful, and some people (like me) need to hear that stuff from time to time. When I got under 240, my achilles tendonitis fucked off, will love to see what happens.

I believe in you!!! You are making absolutely awesome progress so far. Just always remember, self love and feeling the need to improve yourself are two entirely different things. If you love yourself as you are, it gives you the right motivation to make that self better. Treat yo self, but make sure your good decisions outweigh your bad!

Keep going! I beliiieeeeeeeeeeeve. I haven't really dropped weight but I have lost fat and replaced said fat with some gains, I definitely look better and feel more confident, but I still feel down sometimes you know. Then again, I'm really weird and sometimes I have really high self-esteem to the point of arrogance and other tines I feel like complete shit, never anything in the middle.

If you need tips or help with work outs, let me know.
I was in the 200s as well at one point...stress and being lazy put on the pounds.
Now I'm down to 180 and I've put on some muscle as well.
Looking to just shrink my gut a little more.
