oh shut the fuck up. by no standart is this comparable to school shootings. the word school shooting is a term used to desribe a desaster. literaly no one would defend the concept of school shooting. the problem with those inbred fucktards is that the concept of an honor killing is still defended by many people. it is a fucking medieval concept, and by todays standarts everyone should have moved on from those. i mean, in europe we had the mediveal concept of witch burning, and we fucking moved on.

Oh do tell us about how we were somehow the cause of all of the disasters which happened back when we were all too young to have any sort of influence on anything aside from our level of disdain for authority.
#142 - auryn (06/21/2016) [-]
You can not choose what happens to you, but you can choose how to deal with it.

Ofcourse to a lesser degrees the younger you are, but if you choose to remain a little bitch about it that's all up to you.

So what you're saying...is that none of it was actually our fault, and that what youre doing now is looking at a problem you actively caused, and are now simply telling us to deal with it?

For one, we are. We have to. What we're doing isn't demanding that you somehow go back in time and fix the problems YOU actively caused. What we're doing is actively reminding you that this is YOUR problem which YOU caused. Does it serve any functional purpose in solving the problem? Fuck no...but it sure makes us feel vindicated. Especially when all of the shit that's coming our way is in the fact that the older generation is then judging us for our capacity to deal with that problem, ignoring the specific situation which is that we have to clean up your mess while somehow establishing ourselves, which is arguably twice the amount of shit you had to put up with when you were our age.

Now, this is where you say some shit about "Oh, I, uh, it wasn't my generation! I'm a millennial!" as though that would invalidate anything I've said.

I'm just reiterating what I said in the most simple and concise manner because, judging your reply, you didn't seem to get it the first time.

I tend not to acknowledge points where the only reason I'm expected to respect it is that it's repeated over and over again, yes that is a fact.
#149 - auryn (06/23/2016) [-]
Well, you didn't even acknowledge it the first time, so that's beside the point.

I'm sorry, I didn't even read it all that well. And I'm sorry for my tone.

I just have a strong aversion to anything and anyone excusing self-pity, or who doesn't take the responsibility for their own state of being. I tend to react a bit hastily and crude.
I'm not even sure what specifically you are referring to, or the point you're trying to make, or how it relates to anon's original comment and my first reaction.

#152 - lolollo (06/24/2016) [-]
My point is there's a difference between taking self pity, and being aggressive over the fact that the problem you're actively solving was caused by another party.

It didn't happen often, usually after breaks, only a couple of unique cases. It only took a couple of seconds (minute max) it wasn't a big deal. Also, everyone were friendly with everyone in my particular class, so there was no need for that stuff.

They called me the Doc Dude, as I always had a couple of packs on me during winter times. Pic related.
