Although it wouldn't really be breaking in as much as it would be tearing.

But I know, you're right. That's why I never let your mother on top.

You break the muscles and veins. If not seen by urologist and fixed it can cause severe malfunction in your penis and in worst case inner bleeding that cause necrosis.

i'd say no less than 120hz rather than 144hz
120Hz is enough

There was i7-5820K on sale here for the same price as i7-6700k, that would yield you better performance for a workstation.
Although it's 2011-v3 socket i think.

No, it will certainly be a skylake for various reasons, if not only for the future upgrades. There will be released more interesting processors in the future, I can always sell the CPU and swap it out.

Why would you skimp on the monitor then?

If you're getting GTX970, keep with BenQ, 4ms is worse than 1ms, ofc, it will be significantly noticeable especially on 120Hz+ panel when you're going to try 1ms 120Hz.

If you're getting GTX980Ti, get 1440p G-Sync 1ms monitor, otherwise it's a complete waste of specs

Also the BenQ you're talking about is 1ms.

For 100$ more you can get 1440p Asus ROG, if you're getting 980Ti and not 970.

So it all comes down to if you want to play on 1080p and make it a waste of the specs you made or play 1440p to get the best of your specs.

I'd personally go 1440p

But thats just me

Yeah, for 1440p a gtx 970 will nog suffice. I'm top keen on a high fps date and reluctant to turn down settings.

But no, I wasn't planning on skimping out on the monitor, it's just that recently a few nice IPS g-sync monitors came out and I expect more will follow. If I'm holding out for a monitor a bit longer I'll go for nothing less than 1440p and 144 hz. IPS has a significantly better color reproduction and contrast ratio compared to TN panels, they look way better.
It's just that they're a little bit slower. I was wondering if it'd be noticeable. I don't have anything to relate to so I've no idea how much difference 3ms makes.
