No he didn't misread it. You respond to the anon by saying he's wrong when he's right. The bacteriophage in the content IS a virus. It's just not as specific of a description as is possible. So you are unjustified in calling it wrong.

Nobody cares about what your definition of a virus and bacteriophage are. There are scientific definitions and starndards.

While correct anon is claiming the statement to be wrong. This (I assume) is what explain says is wrong.

Also, I already have some prior knowledge about viruses. I added the part about googling it because it is always good to double check yourself.

I realise I must have offended you because you jumped to calling me a prick, but you were abit of a prick to that anon for someone who made an account based around informing people of scientific facts.

One, I am not declaring myself an atheist. My username is a referance to an older post along the lines of some girl on face book asking "Why do people even worship athiesm when god made the world". Her statement implied that there was an atheism diety and that made me laugh like a bitch because thats basically the opposite of atheism.
Two, you use the words "A bacteriophage infects and replicates only within bacteria instead of the cells of living organisms.", the use of the word "instead" makes it seem as though you are saying bacteria are not living organisms.
Three, you also say "Whilst a virus can take many shapes, bacteriophages only appear like in that content.", which again when phrased the way it is makes it appear that you believe bacteriophages are not viruses.
Four, please reread your response to the anon before telling me not to talk down to others.
