If you're doing alright in the sciences, which are arguably a hell of a lot harder in Uni, I'll probably get good millage out of my pleb humanities. Cheers and have fun with Fallout 4. which I'm still putting off buying. Because exams.

Second year. I can't speak for everyone, since Physics and Math HL really help with nuclear engineering, but for the most part it's still helping. I would assume HL History would help if you're doing History and Politics.

I lucked the fuck out as far as spelling all the Spanish stuff goes, considering I went to high school in Latin America and my 4th HL was Spanish HL. I did; however, end up investing all my studying hours into History though and managed to screw up my Physics, getting a 5 when I was predicted a 7. My teacher wasn't happy.

I'm doing history+politics in university now and I'm far less stressed about my upcoming exams than I was about the IB. I always found the whole "IB Learner" thing about being a well-rounded, responsible risk-taker to be a pile of bullshit considering most of my friends faked their CAS hours and the like, but whether I like it or not it was actually good preparation for first year university.

I'm really, really glad it's behind me though.

Always did regret taking French as my Language B. And IB was fun for me, since I wanted the challenge. Didn't like all the CAS shit though, but I got most of my hours from Debate and Band. It's totally helping me in Uni, though, everyone else is freaking out about writing a 10 page paper while I get to play Fallout 4.

Brave soul. There's a reason less than 15% of people get a 6 or 7 in that class. 3-4 times harder than Physics as far as raw amount of information goes.
User avatar

Totally. Physics was easy to get by in, as well as Math since the two helped each other out, and English is a joke, but HL HOTA? That class killed me. And I still don't know how to spell peninsulares without spell check.

One of the finest examples would be Hitler. hehe
Or, if we're gonna dive into fiction, motherfucking Johaan Liebert.

I hope she learnt her lesson. The aforementioned chick I am chasing was kinda like her but she's changed into a better person now.

If he doesn't drop that attitude then his smarts won't be of much use later on in life (unless if he's rolling in dosh then, eh).

I know a guy who's currently doing his PhD in some biology related field. Really smart dude and really young as well. But, man, he is as arrogant as all of hell on a Texan meth addict's arse. Thinks he's a pure gift to humanity from God. Also likes to tell everyone that he hates smoking. All the time.
What a waste...

Yeah, everyone underestimates the importance of just being a decent human. Charisma, in some cases, can get your farther than if you were some sort of prodigy.

That guy reminds me of a girl I was in school with. She always spoke down to me, but she never did her work since she thought she was too good for it. Ended up failing a year and having to repeat it.
