brussels: looking at the stats you can see that arab is far from "prominent". with molenbeek being 25% morrocan and the others not above 13% in 2 of those the french being more prominent the arabian. http://bisa.brussels/cijfers/kerncijfers-per-gemeente/schaarbeek#.V2_XAbiLSUk

in antwerp the numbers of "north african immigrants" do not go above 15% still not something id call prominent. even if you count in the west and south africans and western azians. then still i would not call it "prominent"

Keep them stats coming, thank you. I have family in Brussels and I've been there repeatedly, and even though it's true that there are quite a few Muslims, the reality is far less exagerated thatn what the other user makes it look like. Demagogues are rampant lately.

worst thing is, these stats are available to everyone. but most people only look at the title of an article without reading the article. it creates misinformation and i find it almost criminal that such clickbait-practices are allowed in national media

That's the media for you, then you have people voting to leave the EU and Googling "what is the EU" the following day, and the same thing could be said about almost any sensible topic. Comments such as the ones of the user you are talking with are living proof of the problem, talking buzzwords such as "overwhelmed with Muslims" or "prominently arab" out of their asses without being able to back them up with data, keep fighting the good fight.

i live in limburg, study in gent and go to many big cities multiple time a month. i have seen many places. and i always wonder why people are being complete liars, or being simply uninformed. the place i live is often called "little arabia" but even here it's not as bad as people say it is.

Your stats are confirming what I'm saying. We are talking about more than 1 out of 10 inhabitants, these numbers are huge on a ridiculous level. And when you take into account that this percentage of the population lives together is specific neighborhoods, it makes that you have a way too big amount of neighborhoods where the Arabic population is, well yes, prominent.

Do you also go to the Jewish quarter in Antwerp and go "What's with all the fuckin' Jews here? Half the city must look like this!"?
