I won't disparage your argument, but there are plenty of other factors that play into evil acts.
Money, greed, revenge, pack mentality.
As I said before, religion is just one symptom of an already flawed system. That system being Humanity.
I'm caught between two sides on how to fix this issue. The leftist in me wishes to make the world better through learning, enlightenment if you will. Books and debate, instead of religion and hate (sick rhymes bruh).
The righty, or I suppose the realist, inside of me knows that the Human race will never amount to that.
Opinions will always differ, and we'll demonize one another to prove a point. Nothing will ever change this, because that's what do, have done and always will do.

If it's clear as day that the U.S. was lying than why did she even bother trying to lie.

Most people who are caught lying, will stick to their story even if it's bloody obvious it's a bunch of BS. You can always take advantage of the benefit of the doubt.

Especially the officials- their job is to push a certain narrative. Admitting they have lied is basically a career death sentence. You can always say things like 'it's classified' or 'I'll ask for more details' etc etc

And it works - they accuse someone without a single shred of evidence, and people keep repeating it without checking the source, and before you know it, it's considered to be a fact.
