I see it too, it's like a can for sardines that didn't account for the 1/4 tail segment of the sardines. I know the sardines are processed to fit into their cans, don't get smart with me

Looks to me like they put two beds right next to eachother. IN the second to last picture you can see a bit of a seem in the middle of the bed, which could mean that there are actually two beds there.

I know it's difficult (my mother is not quite Paula Deen, but does not have any concept of the calories in oil and therefore puts it in/on/with everything)

By the way, with the PCOS thing, have you tried going on the pill? It lessens the chance of a cyst building up, apparently. I've been on it and not had trouble for near 6 months.

Just, as well with the mental health thing, don't let them put you on pizotifen (Sandomigran). I was in a group of people taking it at the mental health center. All 20-something of us experienced weight gain, about 10 including myself gained a stone plus. I gained like 30 pounds.

Guess what? You have the exact same issues as me. I've been in the emergency room for PCOS caused cysts before, and I've not gotten up to close 300 pounds.
I understand being overweight because of this, because I have been there. But there is overweight, and just not even trying to control yourself.

'and actually prefers BBWs over twigs'. Honey, no one is saying you should be a twig. I'm bisexual and I love non-skinny girls (something around a UK 14-16), but they are usually a healthy weight.

Also: Complete bollocks. You consume less calories, you lose weight. Unless you were consuming other sweet thing to compensate for the sugar addiction one can get with sodas (I noticed this in myself, and rectified it) or drinking full fat milky coffees.

You are not an exception to biology or logic, honey.

I did not know that THE Dumbledore was a woman! (Okay, done joking.)

And I'm sure their are some things that fit into the equation and stuff that prevent me from losing weight. Like I said before, I know I'm not the most healthiest person in the world... especially when I moved to Georgia for a while. Food in the deep south is like 90% lard. Back in Oklahoma, and although butter is pretty much a cooking essential (when other people cook -- I typically use minimal amounts of olive oil to cook with), I still eat as healthy as possible in my situation (which is hard since I'm back with my parents and rarely get to cook for myself, and my mother is practically Paula Dean).

But as for my soda addiction, I am working on it. I usually drink when I'm depressed, and I actually managed to get someone from the mental health dept. to speak to me at my check-up today... There's just a two to three month wait to get an actual appointment. -___- But either way, as harmful as I know it as, I'm glad I'm addicted to soda instead of something like alcohol or cigs or whatever else like that.

TL;DR: I know I'm not healthy. I know I'm a fat ass who needs to lose weight. But I am working on it. It's just a pain in the ass when I JUST got back to being able to get the mental and medical help I've been needing for years.

not trying to be a dickhead but diet soda is actually worse for you than regular soda. Aspertame and any other artificial sweetener is alien to the body so it is just stored along with the fats. Not to mention most artificial sweeteners are a known carcinogen.
#55 - anonymous (08/12/2013) [-]
If you're serious about wanting to get healthier try quitting the soda, you'll lose a shitton of weight and pretty fast depending on the rest of your diet and on how much sugar and carbs are there. I lost about 40lbs in 2 months so far and I started by cutting soda, and gradually other sugars and refined carbs and replacing with good fats like coconut oil, eating a lot of meat, and grass-fed butter and it wasn't very hard because not only did I not feel deprived but I was determined to do it more than I could rationalize drinking that next can of soda. All I can say is that it's entirely up to you.

'Cut down some calories'? Dude, I was 210 at my heaviest before dieting and that was with eating like complete shit, not exercising at all, a hormonal problem and pizotifen making me gain like 4 pounds every other week.

Sorry man, I don't even see how one can get that big without eating ALL of the wrong things each day. You may want to not drink any soda, even the diet stuff causes you to absorb more sugar from other foods or something.

If you are constantly consuming like twice the recommended calories for your height then you are either A) willingly eating far more than a normal person B) willingly eating all the wrong things or C) have a serious, serious health issue causing either immense appetite or metabolic issues.
User avatar #66 - aninnymouse (08/12/2013) [-]
I do have several issues. And for clarification (but probably gonna make some of you guys wtf, rage, or gag), I'm a chick.
I have severe PCOS and depression issues. Depression causes me to consume to cope (typically it's drinking soda, in my case) and then my PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) causes a lot of hormonal/metabolism problems. I am just now back on insurance to get these things taken care of. Last time I was getting mental and physical treatments, I was a reasonable weight (185 lbs) for my height (5'10"). Not saying I was super skinny or anything, but it was a low enough weight that I could have done some generic diet for 6 months and been completely satisfied with myself.

But honestly, I don't care what a bunch of people on the internet think. I have a boyfriend who loves me either way, and actually prefers BBWs over twigs. So until I get my appointments back on track and another two year surgery done (which will remove two cysts around a liter each), I've just got to wait it out. Not much else I can really do.

And also: Cutting out soda won't even make a difference. There have been times when I've been too broke to buy even a 2 liter of off-brand for several weeks and I gained about 2 lbs while drinking nothing but water or coffee.

This is what happens when you've been working on a car all day in the heat. Good job, brain.
