Some aspects of nature are used to try to support homosexuality in humans, but it's always a stretch. Evolution theory just doesn't support true homosexuality.

I didn't reference evolutionary biology. I'm saying, cause and effect, there are many factors both genetic and psychological that go into homosexuality.

There's definitely something that goes into it. I'm just saying it's not genetic.

What makes you say that?

There are no evolutionary advantages to being homosexual-proper.

There are no evolutionary advantages to having sickle-cell anemia, and yet its cause is entirely genetic.

Actually, there is. Sickle-cell anemia is a recessive gene. You can only get it if you received it from both of your parents. If you only have one sickle cell gene, then you're just a carrier, and carriers are less likely to develop malaria, which is often fatal.

Sickle-cell was merely an example. Tay-Sachs disease is entirely genetic and yet it causes children to die before the age of 7 (this is before they reach sexual maturity), thus it has no evolutionary advantage. There are countless genetic disorders and conditions and properties that are entirely genetic and lack significant evolutionary advantage.

Bad recessive genes are why incestuous relations are frowned upon, but they are regularly eliminated in evolution theory, and have a much lower rate of expression than diseases like sickle-cell anemia. Genetic mutation and recessive expressions do account for many deformities, but have a much lower probability of occurring than we have homosexuals. I doubt most of us will ever meet a genetically homosexual person, even if such genes are prominent in deformity standards.

I see it as an evolutionary failsafe to help stave off over population.

And homosexuality, in its property of not creating new individuals, does not do the same?

As long as it isn't something bourgeois like chocolate chip jk I believe in a world where people are not judged by their choice of cookie

Humans have possibly one of the most diverse digestive systems in the entire animal kingdom. Our stomachs can handle a ridiculous amounts of shit that would be poisonous to other animals. At worst we don't digest it right and just shit it out.

I kinda do, but it's not a main course. I generally hate cold rice and although some fish is delicious, it's far from all.
