Last I checked, GPA only goes up to 4.0.

AP is graded on a 5-point scale.

I knew that, but he specifically referred to his GPA being ~4.5

Oh right. GPAs based on 5-point tests are also 5-point. It's less common, but happens.

That's just too complicated. Why so inefficient?

I took IB. It's graded on a 7 point scale. SATs are graded on a 2400-point scale, ACTs on a 36-point scale.

Meanwhile Europe decided that 10 was a really convenient number and went with metric and 100 point scales.

And we wonder why Americans get shit from Europeans. One thing that always sort of confused me was why the SATs actually have a MINIMUM score. Seems rather pointless.

I need to research this. What does bing give you for using it?
User avatar #92 - ctsasquatch (09/27/2013) [-]
Every 2 searches gives you 1 point. (up to 15 points per day.)
Trade in points for free stuff. (525 points for $5 Amazon.com gift card, etc.)
Basically, Bing pays me 5 bucks a month to use them instead of Google.
