One word: Ao.
Ao is the Overgod that is above all of the other gods. He makes sure the gods of that world don't fuck things up to much. To answer your question about Lolth from interfering...Ao has a rule about deities keeping a balance between good vs evil, order vs chaos, etc. Each deity has a portfolio. These portfolios are what they rule over such as "Sun, sea, air, undeath, etc." Evil gods usually covet these portfolios, and will try to kill other gods.

There are plenty of problems with this:
1.) They might fuck up the natural balance of the world, and piss off Ao.
2.) The god that is being attacked or killed has other deities as allies.
3.) Deities are almost all powerful in their own domain. Even a lesser deity in their own domain stands a fair chance of beating a intermediate deity that invades their home turf.

I mean, I think it's fine really. If there's a million gods, and a billion people, then every day there's thousands of marriages happening that aren't in front of each god. So either every god spends all day every day cursing people and doing nothing else, or they just accept it. I mean, Canada recognizes American weddings, but no one says... why didn't you get married in Canada / the UK / Australia instead?

It would make sense to me if people were married under their specific gods. Like a couple being married by a priest/cleric of Pelor would be common in a town mostly inhabited by Pelor worshiping people.
I don't see why people would need to be married under gods they don't worship or even agree with.

Sure you could do some mini-quest based off of marriage in specific cases like many gods having "claimed" a couple's marriage for some reason or another. But I can't imagine anyone going through so much hassle unless it were for royalty etc.
But this is giving me some very good ideas for plot hooks and such.

I would say you just get a bunch of priests together in a field one for each respective god and then you get married

i have over 450 games on my PC alone, probably more than 500 all up and none of them are fun anymore, what better games should i play

Apparently better games. If your steam library is completely full, install a game you never played. If not, buy a game of a genre you never played. Play Ori and the Blind forest. Buy a wow subscription. Play Deus Ex.

It's really not hard to find games you like. If you have 450 installed, uninstall all, install one and play that one through. Ofc it sucks to always switch games, that's the most basic rule of gaming. Don't play too many games at once, it'll mess up pacing and immersion.

"Do you wake up in the morning and play videogames, and then you're just like "I don't wanna anymore..." and sit around doing nothing? "
