Can any of you drive? You could organise a fun little road trip maybe, relating to that hikinh idea you said. If you can't drive, maybe you could all go out camping? Catch a train somewhere maybe and just have fun together out with nature maybe.

Theres always the typical activities that people go and do like sky diving and stuff, just general things which people see as "living it up". Depending on, obviously, the weather at the time, a waterfight in a park is always fun.

Maybe try make friend with a bunch of people, talk around and dont be shy to communicate with people. Throw "dont talk to strangers" out the window (as long as the person doesnt look like a murderer).

Theres a huge bunch of stuff you can do if you just throw aside inhabitions which seems to be what you wanna do, right? I don't know what you guys have been scared of doing so far but my general advice is just go for it. Every opportunity you get, you should sieze it.

I don't think I wanna just throw inhibitions away, but I'd really enjoy just getting out there and doing something fun. You honestly did spark a couple of ideas for me, like going out and trying to get numbers from strangers or just driving over to Detroit and finding something fun to do there. Thanks!

Having a party and getting drunk off your tits is probably a fun way of going out there before you graduate. I have to disagree that smoking is really necessary though, for something like this, I think that should be an individual choice.

Where abouts do you live and how old are you? could base some ideas around that. Honestly, I think a bucket list should really just include stuff thats really fun that you've not yet had the chance to do. So you can just throw everything aside and go crazy before you have to have responsibilities again.

We don't really have much around where we live, and we're pretty much all 18. And I wouldn't mind going crazy, but we''d like to do something we are scared to do, and then just go out and do it anyway. I'd also like to do stuff that we used to do as kids. Like go outside in the rain and play in the mud, and go hiking in the woods at midnight.

That was the only thing on my bucket list. Highly recommend it as well. It was such a binding experience, we do it every four years on a camping trip.

Because historically women report higher happiness from the home. It's not fair for men to be stuck at work either but someone has to

But I feel like if history was switched and men were the ones orginally stuck at home then the same thing one be found. Of course it's easier to live in a happy middle class home where all you have to do is cook and clean instead of having an actual job.

But men can't have it all either. If they choose a career it means being at work and not seeing their family. Literally very few people of either gender can truly have both

Yes, but I don't see how this means that we need to promote gender norms. I somewhat understand that men and women most decide between a career and a family, but I don't get why the female has to be the one stuck at home.

Ultimately what women should be taught is that they can't have it all. They can either have a career or have a family that they take care of and should go with what makes them happy.
#122 - aludin (03/22/2016) [-]
They shouldn't be taught that. I mean men can have a career and a family, so there should be no difference between the two genders.
