Hope you have fun killing kids for a corrupt bullshit country, dude. We shouldn't even be in their countries, and you're only making it worse there. I would be happy if every Veteran that killed a civilian overseas gets tried for murder. But sadly that doesn't happen, because then we'd have actual criminals in our jails and we just can't do that to our War Criminals overseas.

Just listen to what you just said?

We should not BE in their countries?

How many Iraqi bases are there in America?

How many Chinese bases?

How many Russian bases?

There are zero foreign bases in America.

So why do we think it's cool to put our bases fucking everywhere?

Because the UN and other countries that arent affiliated expect american support should something happen towards their interests. It's also to protrect American interests on foreign soil. The United States used to be an isolationist country...Until the second world war. After that the cold war was in full affect, and the two major powers (The United States and the Soviet Union) fought a proxy war for decades. This, and other factors transformed the world and the united states from being more isolationist, to being very much global. This effected not only Military interest, but also humanitarian interest and Economic interest. The fact of the matter is, a great many countries have the right to kick the US military out, but they dont, because it would be a detriment to THEIR interest. Example. We have bases in eastern Europe today. It's to better deter the Russian government from expanding and being even more aggressive than they already are. Europe can definately deter it as well, but the US presence there helps, and is in the best interest. There is a US base in Japan to deter aggression from China and North Korea. Same with the US presence in South Korea. Although I will say that until quite recently (the second world war when Japan made a concious effort to expand) Japan has always been very isolationist, hence the tension that we are seeing in this post towards foreigners on Japanese soil. The more you know!
