Your right maybe they can surprise me no one 100% knows the future but we can guess. And you should look BACKWARDs their used to be some pretty interesting games made for mobile platforms but they didn't do well because 1) gamers don't wanna play on their phone 2) casuals want to play something that they can play while taking a shit and then no think about for 8 hours. The markets are just completely compatible at this point but things may change we never know.

they already stated they want to go for "pay while you play" models, i.e. in game cash shops

also, "The success of Power pro especially has motivated us to actively push more of our popular series onto mobile than ever before."

they see the mobile market is the one making the most money, so they switch to it and is going to try to squeeze as much money as possible out of it, they do not care about the craft, the statement was, compared to other corperate statements, a "fuck you, we make more money over here"

Because the mobile market is designed for quick cheep "freemium" games that have 0 depth and are meant to be played while taking a shit. And for a company to say that is the market they are focusing on means that they have all but given up and are hoping to cash in on the causal gaming market.

anf any one with two eyes pointed towards the future could see plain as day that any game that was good and worth its salt would change the mobile market and maybe taht's what they'll go for and unless you are on the board of directors I don't think you are going to know otherwise yoursself. maybe they'll surprise you
