yes. he is completely unelectable in a general election. He is an outspoken socialist. Much too far left to swing the independents or sway moderate right voters.
He polls better because the majority of the polls are online opinion crap compiled together. The people online are college students and younger generation who historically are the ones who speak loudly but dont ever get to the polls anyways. They are insignificant to a real election bc they dont vote.

Yea, I exaggerated a bit. Social healthcare could totally work in America if it was done right over time. I was mostly thinking of paying for everyone's college tuition by taxing Wall Street because it wouldn't just affect rick stock traders. That would effect everyone with a 401k or investments of any kind. It would also cause people to seek investments in other countries which would drop the value of the dollar in the foreign exchange market.
There's a lot to be said for the Keynesian model. It is a bit more modern by assuming that prices aren't always super flexible, so your point is very fair.
