Apparently she didn't know the difference between gift card and debit card...

Debit cards still don't work that way. Once the money is out, it gets declined.

Unless it's a shitty bank that loves overdraft fees.

Which is what I was getting at. Thought it was obvious but I guess not.

Not really. Saying "Debit cards still don't work that way." is a pretty definitive statement, with no acknowledgement of exceptions.

really? I've seen a lot of these people who advertize their problems and rub it in peoples faces. this pic for example.
I used to have a depression, because my shit of a mother did some horrible things which I wont discuss more right now. I met a few people in school who seemed to be like me, depressed. it soon became evident that they were competing who had it worse, I even heard the words being said to me from them "you can't be that depressed since you don't cut like us". it was insane. I can't really describe it, they really romantisized suicides and claimed to have tried it 20 times. one of them even cut in line in psychologist when you enroll into a psychologist here you should prepare to wait at least 6 months until you get an appointment by saying "I'm going to kill myself", and this way she cut in line and got help faster.
I travelled where she lived and banged behind her door because she had sent me messages where she was going to kill herself. no one answered, even though I heard she was in the house. the next day she came to school she laughed at the thing and ignored it. every time I tried to make her talk about her problems she just goes around the thing. it became pretty obvious that she didn't really have any real problems, and I know that's really snobby thing to say. apparently she also had anxiety, schizofrenia, ptsd, bipolar disorder, ocd, bulimia, anorexia she was a bit chubby btw , aaand I think I'm forgetting a few here. at first I believed her, but then she started to have more and more disorders and mental problems, according to her and her self diagnosis...
these people both saw anorexia as a beautiful thing. and I dunno, it is often seen in our culture as desirable, "because being fat is disgusting, and being slim is beautiful". even I kinda saw it as a beautiful thing when I was younger.

now that a few years has passed and tumblr has gained popularity, there is even more special snowflakes who self diagnose a million problems to themselves so they can get more attention.
because that what it is. attention craving.
seriously, hug your kids more, we don't need sick people like these who actually might have a mental disorder in the lack of attention and love they never got. that's how I see it... and with the internet and no one teaching them how to use it, they see it as normal thing to "be special". you need to be special in order to gain attention.

They're German. Germans do have this funny tendency to take on enemies way bigger than them.
