Then you're not looking hard enough.
Runescape can't make up for that one redeeming factor.
It's like this post it note has no grammatical errors compared to a complete book, that may have an error.
Personally, I enjoy RuneScape for the multitude of skills that are not locked to one specific class, the countless types of enemies (of which copies are rare), the lore interweaved into the world, the various quests and questlines, the world itself, and the freedom to do pretty whatever you want when you want.
I enjoyed it back in the day when i also played flash games on miniclip, addictinggames, and kongregate.
But the level of entertainment available today in games is absolutely unparalleled.
I enjoy other games as well, but I always find myself returning to RuneScape. Maybe it's cause I pay for membership. I mean I could stop paying, but... I just enjoy the game enough to warrant continuing playing. It's had its rocky moments, such as the Wilderness PvP rework and the Evolution of Combat, but I've remained regardless. I've occasionally noted I appear to have low standards and am easily amused. But it's got to be popular enough to have several thousand players even after all this.
It's hard to not renew the membership every once in a while just because of all the hours I've sank into farming and agility courses, herblore, etc
Yes that's a good point. It would be terrible for all that time and work to go to waste.
Unless you play deadman mode and feel like crying after getting Dspecced
I've never really been into PvP. Never really enjoyed it. Of course, dying to another player and getting that broadcast message is better than seeing that "so-and-so died to dehydration". That was an embarrassing death alert for everyone who saw it.
