Doomsday didn't really have anything to do with their fight. The whole thing was over with before they even got to him.

In my opinion, they could have had the movie be just as long, but cut out the doomsday part, and put more time into Batman and Superman's fight, and the buildup to it. That would have made the movie much better. Also, very excited for Batfleck's standalone movie. He was a really good batman, and easily my favorite part of the movie. Also, Jeremy Irons as Alfred was perfect. Really want to see more of that.

I agree completely, I loved Afflek and Irons. But then they had to have an excuse for superman to fight batman (Without superman just straight up killing batman). If doomsday wasn't there what would've caused that?

I mean not having that big, shoehorned in final fight at all. The doomsday story could have been so much better, given it's own movie. And yeah, they copped out and called him "Lex Jr.", so here's hoping they'll bring in the real one at some point.

I mean the Doomsday part wasn't awful at least.. they just had their own twist to it which is fine. But i can totally see how that's packing too much into one movie since the movie was about BvS not Doomsday.

And if they cast Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor again I'm going to have a fit, that guy is NOT a Lex Luthor.

BvS would have been a much better movie if they ended it on them making amends and catching Lex, and just cut out the last act. I haven't seen Man of Steel, but I do think the Superman portrayal in BvS was pretty decent, although that bathtub scene was pretty cringeworthy.

What improvements in BvS are you talking about? Also, I agree, I really want the wonder woman movie to be good. Never read the comics, but I always loved her in the shows and animated movies. And hey, maybe we can finally get Aquaman some recognition as a legit superhero.

WW has a lot of different portrayals, but she was so fucking pointless in BvS and didn't live up to her comics or portrayals in many animated shows.

And I purely meant the improvements made to Superman. I feel like he (and Lois Lane) were more accurately portrayed. Superman was less of a bitch and more of a boy scout while Lane was less whiny. In other words there was no scene with Lois Lane saying "What if I have to tinkle"

There is hope though. This, and I believe future DCU movies are not being directed by Zack Snyder. So, hopefully future directors can avoid the mistakes he made.

Snyder is directing the Justice League movies, but only those. The BvS backlash could possibly change him directing the second film, but it's too late for part 1.

I'd be so happy. I don't know why Zack Snyder sucks so hard recently, I liked his old movies... And I have faith purely because of the improvements made in BvS. Personally I just don't want them to fuck up the WW movie since she's my favorite character as they did in BvS. Gal Gadot is a fine actress, I blame the directors.
