Jeremy Clarkson punched one of the staff and after a suspension the BBC decided to fire him. James May and Richard Hammond have both said they won't appear on tv without him. Top Gear is Pepsi.
User avatar #158 - thebaconstripman (03/27/2015) [-]
I don't get why they decided to fire him. Do they realise how much of a boost Jeremy is for them tv viewers wise?
User avatar #84 - bendingtimeisgood (03/26/2015) [-]
BBC are niggers.
#110 - anonymous (03/26/2015) [-]
No, Clarkson's the one to blame here. If he really wanted to keep his job, he shouldn't have gotten drunk and punched a guy, it's as simple as that. His ego made him think he was invincible, and it's good that the BBC is telling him that there's limits. Anyone else in this situation would be shunned, but bias apparently means Clarkson should magically be put back on the show.
User avatar #112 - nigeltheoutlaw (03/26/2015) [-]
Lol, because the BBC have such a great track record of punishing their employees that do wrong. Give me a fucking break.
#119 - anonymous (03/26/2015) [-]
So because of past history, they should never try to get back on track? Great logic, I guess if a company has past issues of ignoring assault then they should cover it up more, never make things better. I'm glad they kicked him out, a message to idiots that they aren't invincible and doing stupid shit will get them fired.
User avatar #121 - ayumu (03/26/2015) [-]
Forgot punching someone is the same as a shit ton of rapes
User avatar #120 - nigeltheoutlaw (03/26/2015) [-]
No, but I think the punching isn't worth firing him over. BBC is gonna lose a lot of revenue from this, and a ton of people are pissed about it (I don't care much either way since I don't watch Top Gear, I just think it was a bad move).
User avatar #160 - amen (03/27/2015) [-]
I think its not only about the fight. They had a lot problems with him before. He just crossed the line after many warnings. Maybe a bad move for BBC, maybe not, but everybody has their own ammount patience, imagine yourself in a position of his boss. I would fucking kill him (and probably love him too)
#126 - anonymous (03/26/2015) [-]
I'm just tired of people acting like popularity can be their shield, I respect people like Robert Downey Jr way more than someone like Jeremy Clarkson because RDJ went to rehab and was able to fight off drug addiction before playing in Ironman, and he actually had to prove that he could stay off drugs to get the role.

Meanwhile Clarkson thinks he should be allowed to constantly make racist jokes (nothing against the jokes, but when it's not allowed and they constantly have to edit them out, it's pretty annoying of him) and decides to punch a guy while drunk. I just think it's good that they canned him, I think even popular tv hosts should realize they are just as vulnerable as the rest. And a lot of people would lose jobs if they did the same things he did.

It's not a genetic disorder, it's a subconscious psychological disorder. And society can deny that all day long.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't give a fuck whether someone's straight or not. But people really need to accept homosexuality as a mild psychological disorder that can't be "fixed". Sort of like pedophilia or asexuality.
#102 - WillWalrus (03/26/2015) [-]
I mean given that the point of life is to reproduce and pass on your genes, yes, being gay is a genetic disorder because it prevents you from wanting to do that

But yeah, who gives a fuck
User avatar #72 - gaffateip (03/26/2015) [-]
I never got the whole " Being gay is a choice ".
I didn't chose to like the opposite sex, but I do.
But as you said, who gives a shit, as long as people are happy with what they like.
User avatar #77 - TopDawg (03/26/2015) [-]
It's just that its made out to look like a genetic disorder that way. That's what bothers the hell out of me. It's different, how dare they be different. Fuck them, they must have something wrong in their head that doesn't let them like the opposite sex. It just sounds a bit fucked, doesn't it?

I understand the left and right bit. I grabbed the picture too fast, this doesn't explain it fully. A Nazi Swastika has a 45 degree rotation as you pointed out, they always do. The left and right DO matter somewhat I do agree, but in full the Nazi symbol is a clockwise swastika with a 45ish degree rotation applied. The reason for being so specific is that there are actually numerous swastika like designs to represent peace, whilst as there is only one to represent power and domination as far as I know.

At my school we tried to do this, but unfortunately we have to prepay for our lunches with tuition, and it really doesn't affect them at all, in fact it saves the school money.

We tried multiple times to get them to switch the catering company too but every single time they'd sign the contract before they "could make a final decision"

it was such bullshit

Sieg heil.
User avatar #72 - TwiztidNinja (03/24/2015) [-]
Actually the tilt makes it the nazi swastika, right represents evolution and left represents involution
User avatar #35 - baramill (03/23/2015) [-]
You just proved that those are swastika's.... if you rotate the symbols on the rug like 45' it matches the Nazi symbol.
You would have to invert these to make the correct symbol of peace
User avatar #36 - TopDawg (03/24/2015) [-]
The thing is, they aren't rotated. Granted some are indeed mirrored the general statement in the rug is its not the Nazi Swastika. The only thing that makes it the Nazi symbol of power is the rotation where as the peaceful swastika sits straight up like so. But that's just my view so yeah.

I take adderal and get free meals, so I just drink the milk and pineapple juice.
Though, the food at my school is good decent ok edible when it's not pumped full of seasoning and swimming in some unidentifiable red sauce.
User avatar #43 - TopDawg (03/23/2015) [-]
I just remember us getting sick of the shit my senior year and protesting lunch for a week. They got so pissed at us sitting in the cafeteria and not eating they just told us to get out and go back to class. Needless to say the food improved rather greatly after that.
