I do understand. I think you are looking at this from a more philosophical point of view, instead of a purely biological point of view. You are curious of the origins of thought and consciousness, and even basic animal instinct.

Well from the DNA that gives the organisms it's instructions. That DNA is comprised of those amino acids. They believe that these early organisms resembled viruses, where their only instruction was to simply reproduce.

Well it is a fascinating subject, but not one that is unknown. The first formation of life has actually been fairly well studied and even replicated in labs successfully since the 60s. The amino acids necessary for life were replicated in early earth environments in labs first, then eventually they found certain structures that formed naturally that resemble the most basic cell walls for bacteria, and in the modern day they actually managed to create the first synthetic life by adding a little electricity. Life didn't manage to become multi cellular organisms until several billion years had passed, and then we didn't leave the oceans for another several hundred million years. The vast majority of life's existence on this planet has been single celled organisms acting purely on instinct.

Try thinking of consciousness as a complex and muddy network of communication rather a singularity of metaphysical mysticism.

So your saying that you're religious because intelligent animals are made up of materials that aren't intelligent by themselves?

I was referring to the first "germ", actually, but yeah.

One second there's minerals, and then for no reason cause or purpose, it's a creature with goals. It's beyond me.

Fisher uses Krav Maga for unarmed combat as well as for split second decisions in combat. Krav Maga or "Contact Combat" is a form of self-defense and physical training, first developed by the Israeli army in the 1940s, based on the use of reflexive responses to threatening situations. Israeli military personnel, especially its Special Forces, use them as a way of defense and offense. He has reached the advanced level of 3B under the tutelage of his instructor, Katia Loenstern. This system is widely used by special operators, police, and similar personnel. It also bears mentioning that he had an excellent working relationship with Israeli security services, and he seemed intimately familiar with Israeli weapons (including brand new ones).

In Blacklist, Sam employs an even larger array of Krav Maga techniques and shows proficiency in more unconventional means of hand-to-hand combat like Russian Systema, Filipino Kali and Jujitsu.
