"Crushed heads doesn't really happen anymore."
Nigga, do you even Islamic State?
Are you seriously arguing in favor of literary censorship in 2015? That's just plain dumb. And I mean that with love

What I meant was that it doesn't happen every day, in front of people. And at no point in my short essay up there did I argue for censorship--I was just trying justify and explain the reasons people are reacting the way they are.

It can be viewed as racist. However I do not believe that he is the one that brought race into the conversation here. If someone states that race is a defining factor in anything it is then appropriate, in said discussion, to use race as a defining factor for other points you are making.

Right, but that's if you're being technical. That still doesn't make it not racist.

Plus he doesn't argue logically. She says white people "should take responsibility for the system we've created" (not at all claiming any superiority or inferiority in this statement), and then when she does indeed state that America isn't "the best system in the world," he just jumps to white people being the reason why the other countries are better. If it were an unbiased argument, then he'd consider things like the fact that they're are all nations completely different from America--not just that they have more white people.

The point he was trying to make was her argument is "white people made the American system bad," his counter argument is "the only systems you can name better are also made by white people" he isn't making any superiority statements.

I see where you are coming from. I can also see where he is coming from. As a white person, I get tired of constantly getting blamed for shit that happened years ago. Shit that my ancestors still weren't involved in.
