Note that this is mostly theories, but at the same time everything is directly from the game. That's how Scott works.
It's secretly a prequel. The old are in a bad state coming from an even older place called Freddy's Diner. The date of FnaF2 is 1987, aka the date of the second major incident, after the child murders. It's implied that one of the new animatronics did the bite, since the ending says that they have to be scrapped due to problems. The child murders may have happened before or during this game, since the Phone Guy says at night 5 (or 6) that someone stole an old Freddy suit.
Also, there are several flashbacks appearing at random, which shows a few interesting things, like the murderer being implied to be a security guard (purple suit and a badge) and that the Marionette may be the reason the old suits are haunted.

You most likely have "wake on LAN" turned on, if you have had your pc for a long time and its only happening now it could be a faulty PSU and/or switch. Then again I could be completely wrong.
User avatar #159 - Sacrifice (11/16/2014) [-]
Well, one or two people have mentioned the wake on LAN part, and other than that the two things which are frequently coming up apart from possession, which I also suspected, but I threw some incense and a cross in the case just in case is a faulty PSU or connector, or power button shorting out sorta thing. Hopefully I can get this done, though thankfully it's more annoying than anything.

Thank everyone for your help

I wish I could help you, but the only computer I have that does that is a computer with so many problems I can't narrow it down. You should go to a site that has a dedicated PC readership/community and ask there.

I have friends!

Not too bad, shouldn't complain really. Trying to get a foot in the door of what I wanna do career-wise is hard, but it's a start. Got a job, a roof over my head, and someone to come home to, so it's definitely going better than it could be.

What about you?

Eh, hectic life, but I remain optimistic. Currently going to college, studying criminal justice, very close to transferring to a university, from there majoring in forensics. I love helping people in any way I can, so it's always modeled what I do. To make a long story short, when I was 15 I was told I had 3 months to live due to my horrible spine disease, but I lived thanks to emergency surgery. 6 years later, I am in pain 24/7 (no joke, 6 years of straight pain I've forgotten what 'no pain' feels like) but I've realized how lucky I am just to wake up in the morning, and have a loving family & friends. My friends constantly come to me for help/advice, or just in need of someone to listen, and I never turn them down. I tell new friends this, so they realize 1) they have someone to talk to if needed, and 2) Life really isn't so bad.

tl;dr Life is good, no matter how dark it seems it always gets better, so no worries.

Wow, I really wish I had your outlook on life! I know it's mainly modelled off what's happened in your life, but still.. I've had depression since I was like, 13. I learnt to live with it and hide it, but it was crippling. Thankfully I'm getting better now, so I can focus more on what, but how much easier would life be if I had your mindset, seriously?

Ps your gif is fabulous.

I'm glad it's getting better for you, I'd be lying if I said I didn't know how depression feels. You've had it since you were 13 though? I couldn't imagine that, what happened? If you don't mind me asking.

Ps yeah that gif is my favorite, you can tell it doesn't know what's happening, but it sure as hell feels fabulous.

I actually don't really remember. I say 13, it may have been a little later, or earlier. I've had depression pretty much as long as I can recall. I can only presume it was a buildup of things. Feeling second best, family deaths, social anxiety + very few friends and such. No doubt a lot of the things which get me down are a case of just getting over it, but when all these things build up they really weigh you down.
