I believe it was actually for comedy so some of the less refined movements absolutely could have been on purpose.

It's barely (emphasis on barely) justifiable because your character's older brother is military and might have shown you, but yeah, I see your point. That may be just another point in how it deconstructs Sandbox games, but yeah, it's kind of weird that I picked up a sniper rifle and just instantly started scoring headshots all over the place. Especially when Deus Ex showed how you could have a character that DIDN'T start as an expert in all things firearms.

Deus Ex and Deus Ex HR are two of my favourite games of all time. They are well written, gorgeous looking for their time and the game play in both is incredibly solid. Personally dislike how they did Melee take downs in Deus Ex HR because that bar didn't just do take downs, it did x-ray vision, invisibility and multiple other things, if you wanted to do a complete non-lethal play through it's really hard managing invisibility along with melee take downs.

I've high hopes for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, from what I've seen it plays similar to HR but they've revamped the energy into one universal bar that gradually recharges, and there's a tonne more variety in lethal and non-lethal take downs, this year is a great year of announced games.

Far Cry 3 is fun, personally don't like the idea that you're a rich white boy that touches a weapon and instantly is a trained killing machine, but other than that, the story is pretty good, game play is solid and overall it's fun as hell.
