Nice, long tube headers are always a good idea, I'm not an expert on the nissan or toyota engines, but I know the 2JZ is a beast of an engine, especially if it can be built for more power than the stock 350z.

Long tubes are more for the DE motors (03-06). The HR (07-08) have pretty good headers as it is. The super minimal gains for the price you pay isnt really worth it.

From my limited research so far, the 10k i'd pay for a twin turbo kit for this motor could damn near buy me the entire 2JZ and most of the parts to make it a 600+hp motor. Much rather go that route and have the legendary reliability. Leave the current motor alone and free to drop back in should i ever decide to get rid of the car (i doubt it lol)

Visibility issues are only in the rear. (Who needs to see behind them? Pfffffffft......) Because the rear slopes so much, it makes the rear window super short and then the hatch pillars are HUGE blind spots. The Nismo wing is directly in the center of the rear window so my rearview mirror is all but useless.... backing out of parking spots is a "pray nothing's there" affair haha.

Only thing ive done to it is exhaust. Probably the only other thing im gonna do is long tube intakes and get it tuned. I have future plans for pulling the engine and dropping a toyota 2JZ-GTE into it.

Video is my exhaust before i put the high-flow cats on it. (Its louder and deeper now)

What a lot of people don't get is that you can play their pessimism against them. "Huh...well I guess it's just no use if it simply doesn't exist...Ok bye!" And then leave. Most of the time I've had to do that with auto mechanics looking to sell me headlight fluid, or a second transmission. They'll give me this speal about "Well we can't know until we open her up, and because I don't have the right tools, it might be extra to do just that" because if I give the green light to open the engine block, because "Oh lawd fix my baby!" then I already owe labor...so might as well keep going huh? and I'll just say "hmm...bummer...well I won't do that to ya, I'll figure it out!" and then go to drive it off the lot.

The look of "Hey now hold on..." is delicious.
