If a person kills a person, or a person steals, then the state has failed you. If you weren't taught not to steal, or the difference from right or wrong then its not the persons fault, or if the person needs to steal to live, then the state has failed them again. You don't use jail or punishment as a deterrent! You use jail to rehabilitate a person. Look at Norway, their crime rates are low, because they have a socialist-liberal country. If you're poor the state will help you live, if you commit a crime, you get rehabilitated.

You've been blinded by the media man, the media makes you think that people are born bad, but they are only taught bad! Look at the areas where these crimes are committed. Are they bushy suburban areas, with mostly a white population? No. They're in the ghettos or poor areas, where the state and government has forgotten about them, no help, no care, so the people go back to their basic human needs. The need to survive.

I'm not "blinded" by anyone. My cousin stole a car at age 12 and assaulted the cop after he put cuffs on her. she was in jail for two weeks, that's when she learned how to make acid at home so no jail is not a good place. Now she is 20 she gets SS, the only job she has ever had was being a prostitute. She lived in an upper class city and she is white she has never been out of jail for more than a week, her brother is the same way... They both get monthly checks from the government, they have both been offered jobs, they turn them down, they sell themselves for more drug money, our Grandparents give them money And a free place to live. My male cousin ran form the cops and they tackled him (he stole a car too) and he cut his face on the concrete he said he would sue them for hurting him, I said they did their job. He stole a car, he hit a cop and ran and he got a cut on his face, he deserved it. Just like they want to be whores, well then it's their fault they catch diseases. No one is born bad, just most don't want to make their life better by being better people.

Yeah thats because in America, prison is not rehabilitation. They are locked in there for a long time because they dont know what to do with them. And yes you are blinded by the media.

The media says it's okay to let people go or give them a week in "jail" to show them they did wrong... I say we kill them so we don't have to pay to keep them around... how is that blinded by the media?

You know it only takes 2 psychiatrists to have you sectioned? If you told a psychiatrist that, then you would be locked away.

Hell I've told people at school that I think if you ****** even one person you deserve to go they way your victim did. No one told me to not say it before....A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison for beating his wife to death with a flashlight when he arrived home to find she had strangled their son and tried to kill their daughter. Christopher Smeltzer, 38, admitted he killed his wife, Mara Pappalardo, at their Auburn home last November.
give this man a ******* medal! He did the right thing and what does he get? 15-30 years!

Then surely what you're saying is that the guy should be killed too? Since he killed someone. And It says you're 20? But I'm not sure about that. You're incredibly closed minded. You should have experience with the world and understand that an eye for an eye is not the way justice should be done.

Yes I'll turn 21 in March. No what the guy did was defend himself (whose to say she wouldn't try to kill him after she was done with the kids), killing her was an eye for an eye, you kill kids you deserve to die. Sure he should have strangled her but I'm sure she didn't stay still so he did what he had to do. If she would have had a trial she would be out in a month and we would have to pay for her to eat and sleep. An eye for an eye is exactly how the world should be. I'm not closed minded but if you want to think that it's your choice.

You know which criminal justice system works like 'an eye for an eye'? The Iranian one. You should live there with all of the other people manipulated and blinded by the right wing media.

I don't see the point in discussing this if you aren't open to anything I say. You have already made up your mind. And you know what that means, honey? Yes, that means you're closed minded.

And how am I not Open to what you say? Oh because I have my own opinion and you happen to have a different one? Then fine I'm happy to be closed minded if that's why. more than one country is like that and no, not all of them are in the Middle East.
