Death Seed.
I feel like they nerfed him in World War Hulk, since he and Hulk tied.

I think it was confirmed that Sentry was seriously holding back in that fight. Dude was able to slow down a Celestial.

I'm not completely sure. Darkseid beats Superman like a red-headed stepchild physically almost every time they fight. In New 52, he onehalfshot big blue, and tanked a Multiverse Empowered Green Lantern.

I'd give it to big D in the long run. Death Seed Sentry was hurt by lightning from Thor. DS's Omega beams knocked out Superman in one shot, and that's just because Darkseid wanted him alive and was only a single beam rather than both.

Well, Thor, while being underpowered, is also overpowered. One knock of his hammer to Superman's or Sentry's head, and they're out like a light. It's all in his hammer, one of the most powerful weapons ever made.
Well, one of Senty's Deathseed powers is Immortality, another being Invulnerability. Darkseid could hammer him with everything he had all he wanted to, and not make a dent. Superman, while incredibly durable, is confirmed to be neither immortal nor invulnerable.

Invulnerability is relative in comics.

While ole' Robert is immortal, no doubt about it, Owen Reece couldn't kill him, I think it's more of the fact that Sentry doesn't have much that can put Darkseid down. He does have the ability to manipulate matter, but so does Darkseid, and Darkseid actually knows how to use it very well.

Worse comes to worst, Darkseid uses the Omega Sanction and sends Bobby into another universe.

He's literally the other part of the Void, Darkseid couldn't do that without collapsing half the dimension on his ass.

No, he could. Void is gone as of Death Seed. Bobby himself said so.

By the way, Darkseid survived an entire dimension collapsing on him. In New 52, Earth 2.
User avatar
#153 - heartlessrobot (12/23/2015) [-]
Well I can imagine him surviving the fight, but there's always someone who can kick his shit in. Even the Hulk could do that if he lands the blow, since he has literally infinite strength, and is resistant to matter manipulation and energy attacks. Or, he can counter them with his shockwave attacks. Which level buildings and split the earth wide open.

Hulk would have to be seriously angry to do any damage to Darkseid. Even then, Darkseid can teleport other people and even planets away. He once re arranged two completely different solar systems that were lightyears apart. Teleporting the Hulk is nothing.

His Omega Beams did serious damage to the Anti-Monitor, who beat the Spectre. Imperiex, DC's Galactus, The Spectre... Hulk is tough, but no where near any of them.

Marvel even had a Superman Expy absolutely demolish the Hulk during the Incursions.

The thing with the Hulk, is he's very limited in what powers he has, but when it comes to the powers that he does have, they are completely unlimited. Infinite strength, near 100% invulnerability, and when he does get damaged, he regenerates almost instantly.
#159 - RageRambo (12/23/2015) [-]
That's true. But the Hulk is not instantly angry enough where he'll be able to resist serious damage at the very start. Darkseid opens with the Omega Beams, and the Hulk is ash, or is floating in space well away from him.

Again, as this pic shows: Darkseid>Superman>Hulk. Plus, Hulk gets absolutely destroyed by Thanos. Who is, in my opinion, slightly weaker than Darkseid.

Almost instant world-shattering rage.
#162 - RageRambo (12/23/2015) [-]
Even then. Hulk's most powerful state, Green Scar, is about Superman level in terms of strength. Hulk was able to pull two halves of a planet together, Superman benched an entire planet. So they're roughly equal if Hulk is at his canonical strongest.

Now plug in the fact that Darkseid completely manhandles Superman quite easily. As shown here. And Lanterns are no threat to Darkseid. Hell, they're no threat to his Superman equal son Orion, who easily overpowered Mogo.

Fun Fact: Captain Cold was the only member of The Rogues who had his weapon integrated into him and didn't suffer any side effects. Heat Wave was horrifically burned, Golden Glider went into a coma, Mirror Master was trapped in the Mirror World, and Weather Wizard had his Emotions linked to his Powers (for example, he would become Depressed when using Hydrokinesis).

Huh, that's kinda nifty about the gun. But still wouldn't really explain how he just casually shoots flash with it all the time. You're definitely right, he's not as fast as he is in the comics (yet) but he's still fast enough to catch bullets he didn't even know where coming, so how he gets hit with any kind of projectile is kind of silly in my opinon
User avatar
#80 - RageRambo (11/19/2015) [-]
It's not like he can catch a cold beam though. Barry is also not very experienced and his reaction time seems to be inconsistent. It could be that the cold beam is like a laser which he would have difficulties dodging.

O it could be that Barry keeps giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Though that fight in season two with Zoom was pretty nasty. And highlights why most of Flash's foes are other speedsters.

That could be true ( I haven't read the comics) but in the show he's litterally just a guy with a gun that shoots freezey blasts... how is he ever supposed to hit someone who can react and make decisions in like 1/1000000000 of a second?
#103 - anon (11/20/2015) [-]
Dude, they explain in the series exactly what RageRambo mentioned about the field around the user,i think its explained even in the episode that the gun appears for first time.
#123 - anon (11/20/2015) [-]
Iiii definitely don't remember that detail at all, and Flash uses his super speed plenty of times around Snart without being affected
User avatar
#75 - RageRambo (11/19/2015) [-]
In the comics, the cold gun he uses produces a field around the user that halts molecular movement being absolute zero and all that jazz.

And it seems here that Flash isn't nearly as fast as he is in the comics where he's casually moving FTL.
