How many ways can you kill a man with his own liver?

#73 - To be Fair. Cap Cold is pretty OP in the comics. Pic related.  [+] (11 new replies) 11/19/2015 on Remember remember! +2

That could be true ( I haven't read the comics) but in the show he's litterally just a guy with a gun that shoots freezey blasts... how is he ever supposed to hit someone who can react and make decisions in like 1/1000000000 of a second?

Dude, they explain in the series exactly what RageRambo mentioned about the field around the user,i think its explained even in the episode that the gun appears for first time.
#123 - anon (11/20/2015) [-]
Iiii definitely don't remember that detail at all, and Flash uses his super speed plenty of times around Snart without being affected

In the comics, the cold gun he uses produces a field around the user that halts molecular movement being absolute zero and all that jazz.

And it seems here that Flash isn't nearly as fast as he is in the comics where he's casually moving FTL.

didn't he use some machine to fuse the gun's technology with himself and have ice powers at one point in the comic?

Fun Fact: Captain Cold was the only member of The Rogues who had his weapon integrated into him and didn't suffer any side effects. Heat Wave was horrifically burned, Golden Glider went into a coma, Mirror Master was trapped in the Mirror World, and Weather Wizard had his Emotions linked to his Powers (for example, he would become Depressed when using Hydrokinesis).

i vaguely remember that, i read some of the comics a while ago
#106 - RageRambo (11/20/2015) [-]
Yes. But it's still an effect of the gun.
#108 - thempc (11/20/2015) [-]
the gun just looks like a desert eagle that shoots ice
not that that isn't cool

Huh, that's kinda nifty about the gun. But still wouldn't really explain how he just casually shoots flash with it all the time. You're definitely right, he's not as fast as he is in the comics (yet) but he's still fast enough to catch bullets he didn't even know where coming, so how he gets hit with any kind of projectile is kind of silly in my opinon

It's not like he can catch a cold beam though. Barry is also not very experienced and his reaction time seems to be inconsistent. It could be that the cold beam is like a laser which he would have difficulties dodging.

O it could be that Barry keeps giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Though that fight in season two with Zoom was pretty nasty. And highlights why most of Flash's foes are other speedsters.

Whoop, you answered yourself, there!

Great answer. I too love Sentry, though Spider-Man and the Hulk will always be my two main stays. I have a personal love for immortality! If the writers were wise, they'd realize Spidey also has a limitless lifespan. But alas, in order to keep him relatable, he ages... Hrm.

I've always enjoyed the Hulk growing up. I love the Hulks in general.

Sentry is a relatively new favorite of mine. Dude made Terrax look like a bitch, and enjoys ripping people's heads/everythings off. Poor Ares.

I like him because despite him dwarfing Supes in power, Bobby is a loon, and imagines everything into existence because he's crazy. Bad thing about your imagination when you have psychosis and reality warping is that your nightmares are much worse for other people. The Avengers only kept him on the team because they didn't know what to do with him knowing full and well he was a time bomb.

His relationship with the Hulk is what made me read up on him. Him and Sentry are, or rather now, were good friends. He's a lot like the Hulk. Limitless, power, coupled with a fragile and damaged mind. They are very similar which is why I like him.

Indeed! But as seen here, he's obviously capable of smashing the hulk still - Makes one think about just how powerful Black Bolt is!

Oh no! I know how powerful BB is. Dude fucking did some mean damage to Thanos in Infinity I'm just saying that BB ain't the real one.

WWH is one of my favorite arcs. Hulk and Sentry are two of my favorite characters in Marvel. Shame to see them fight.
