I'm goooooood. Life is pretty uneventful at the moment, which isn't a bad thing. I've got a couple of musical performances coming up that I'm really excited for. But right now, I'm writing an essays for Studies in English Literature. How's everything on your end?

I'm fine I suppose. Classes didn't go well for me this semester, but I've still got my job which I'm due for a raise for any day now, which is cool.

As far as music goes, I haven't been motivated lately, but I just started on some antidepressants which are making me feel a little more energetic so far, so things look good for that. :3

I have zero interest in drinking. I understand the appeal to many other people, but I just don't have those same feelings. It's weird though, because I was never told not to drink, and my parents would be absolutely fine with me drinking, but for some reason I've instilled my own strange values upon myself. I mean, everyone does it anyway, so I don't see what's stopping me, but I just don't want to. :P It probably has something to do with the fact that my family has a history of alcoholism, and I'm afraid I'm already predisposed to addiction. It could also be that I find drunk people scary. :3 Don't ask me why, some sort of traumatic event probably messed me up. :P

I always used to be extremely against drinking, to the point where I would just bash on anyone who drinks. Then I realized that almost everyone I know drinks. At first it just made me hate the world a bit more, but I came to realize that there's nothing I can do about it, so I'll just accept that it's there (or at least ignore it :P).

But when people post pictures of themselves, at 16, getting drunk at parties, it sickens me (yeah, that just happened today).

Well yeah. And I hate drinking irresponsibly. ....honestly, I just hate irresponsibility in general.

It's not like I'm just getting wasted at a party, it's just me and my roommate having a drink or two because it feels nice. ^_^
